- This video was made to showcase that it is entirely possible to beat the hardest battles of Act 1 without using a single monster or weapon obtained from the soul summons. The approach I used might not be the best or the most efficient, but it worked for me. If you found a better strategy, please comment and share!

I haven't thought of adding serpent idol on my team! I just went out with a full "grant stealth" users team lol

Serpent Idol dude I used him too, nice to see the strategy I thought of too, and I did kill him on my first try because I had idol in my team from the time I caught it

So in this phase we need stealth n stun absorber combo only?
You will need to have damage dealers as well but stealth and stun stops him from quickly sweeping through your team. That's why it's important.

Is Finn useless? I kept him in the line but he didnt do much. I thought as the main character, he should finish the boss.
It always depends on which strategy you use...
I use fin and last stand works perfectly
Last stand from Finn is how I beat normal phase 1

I've got a rare samurai through invocation with stun absorb and 2 stealth. Went here to see a different strat but it's basically the same. Doesn't work for me. He one shots my stealthed stun absorb samurai in the early stages, always... I've even put a real tank with 70 cost tank ability, but he doesn't care, he just pulls my tank back in reinforcements...
Apologies for the late reply! The reason might be that the samurai has survivor's fury, making it a threat to AI.

You need to defeat him 2 times on the map before he joins your team. First in Ringland Central plains then Habsu desert.

The monsters are in general easy to find. Just go through each area and check for the shaking bushes. The limited ones are always in those. Check every bush thoroughly. Hope this helps!

Dinowraith is found in the desert. Check every bush thoroughly and wait for the possible shaking to start. It usually happens in 20 seconds or so.

Why everyone succes '-'? He killed my idol for his first strike and then he keep using frenzy and keep killing 2 of my allies .... Another match, i use idol and another Stun absorber After my idol die, and same result , after he kill my idol, He chase my other Stun absorber using attack all....

@@kevincrowder4144 Go check in the dark elven forest. Also make sure your characters are properly levelled as this will affect their performance significantly
Ah, I had them in the wrong order. that was literally it. dinowraith had to be fifth in line to save serpent idol from dying early. didn't need voltstruct, could have used anyone. a little annoying when beating a boss hinges on one detail and if you don't have that the rest of the team falls apart despite the fact that they're perfectly adequate for their own roles.
