New Powercreep vs. Old Boss | Skadeknights

Decided to go back to an old clear I really liked a year ago- a 9 op Skade run of EX-8 CM- knowing that modern advances in powercreep have made it much easier for this niche to blow up the map. Seeing as how every enemy filters through the central area, it's only natural for Executor Alter to just annihilate everything on the map. Rosa module also exists now, which allows me to just burst P1 and P2 instead of having to bring bait for the fear debuff or extra healing to keep Cuora alive longer than 40 seconds.
Sure, niche powercreep makes Executor optimal for almost every map, but I can't deny that it's fun!

The Lupi feels more like a mini boss compared to some of the modern bosses. I think the vernal winds boss was a step up in terms of boss difficulty.
With current damage outputs, debuffing and atack cancelling capabilities only bosses that posess any difficulty are those reliant on map mechanics. It can be kinda tracked down to Manfred and Mandragora, even to Talulah, H8-4 specifically. Witch king won't be a problem if you time up with that floating cannon. Sankta mercenary was easily dealt by a heat ray and besiegers, who outrange him. Bosses aren't getting really harder, but more insistent on reading their mechanics.

Me when i first had to clear this event with all E1 characters desperately relying on platnium and a borrowed nearl alter to kill the boss 😢

And now imagine me. My first event was Hortus de Escapismo when i haven't even finished chp 5 of main story. The mechanics were bullshit. I had to buy 1$ pack with Gummy to pass a Gardener and e2 my Shirayuki just to borrow Surtr to deal with that loli with a gun. It was bullshit but i got Executor on my 4th random 1 pull and he helped me a lot and now i am a Sankta stan. I too now wait for revenge.

is he too powerful like wisadel existence in sarkaz niche or still bring something interesting and fun in skade op gameplay?
Logos looks to bring some ridiculous boss killing power, at a safer range and easier charging method than Executor has- and of course, S1 is there to make mob maps a joke and S3 can wipe out entire elite waves.
Like Exalt, he’ll probably bring
the power ceiling significantly higher and let harder maps be tackled with less ops, at the cost of easier maps. Though unlike Exalt he lacks self sustain and blocking ability, which definitely changes up his usage a bit in low op contexts.

But remember guys, noe that we have Logos and Wis'adel, and compared to them Młynar is pretty tame, now HG will need to bring some challange for them.
Just imagine this game in few years. Chalter will be considered fking pathetic. But idk, maybe it's inevitable in games like these.
@@kiszkjmt8564 game launched with silverash and eyja, didnt significantly change when surtr dropped, nor when chalter dropped, nor when mlynar dropped, nor for any of the other 'this operator breaks the game!' clickbait farm thumbnail stars. it wont change for walter or logos, and it wont change for any future 'broken' op either unless HG literally gives that game breaking future op away for free.
HG, for all their faults, are not gamepress's operator review writers. they do not assume every player and their dog has access to every operator in the game when designing stages.
the game's design has not radically changed to account for these sorts of powerhouses, beyond making mechanics more complex to get around straightforward DPSing. game complexity increasing would have happened regardless of the existence of these operators, they simply served to accelerate the process. anything not called design of strife can be beaten by simply reading the bosses mechanics and applying a little brainpower, either your own or a guide maker's.
Fedex is not a powercreep. He's the first and only 6-star reaper, La Pluma and and Highmore are 5-stars.
Cuora is crazy good as a 4 star, just need a decent healer and she can tank both the hitman and 2nd phase. Not even Saria could tank him and I use Eyja Alter and Lumen

Cap of 3. She gains +2 on every redeploy, so if she retreated with 1 remaining, the next deploy would have 3.
Since his banner just got a rerun would you recommend for a pull?
Save for Degen unless you have spare pulls.
Fedex is more of a lane holder than a boss-killer. If a lane is not getting enough pressure (which is very map/event dependent), he can't heal himself fast enough and can be killed. He also needs high investment to be good, as he really benefits from Mod 3, M3, and max E2. He can often be substituted for by many other units like La Pluma, Mountain, Mudrock/Penance, Jessicalter, Specter/Splatter, Blaze etc.
Having said that, he is still a strong unit, just not busted, and if you do need a strong solo laneholder that doesn't need support/healing, is worth considering. He also pairs very well with Stainless S3, but that is more for fun/niche/meme clears than general or even advanced use. Oh, and remember that he can't hit aerial, despite using shotguns, so he can't hold lanes with drones by himself.
