- Welcome to Hobbit Houses of America! It's my dream to make it to New Zealand to visit the real Hobbiton someday, but until then, there are plenty of Hobbit Houses here in the US to explore!
This episode we're in Russellville, Arkansas for a stay at "The Hobbit House: Fantasy Meets Luxury." Interested in staying here yourself? Here's the link! www.airbnb.com...
Special thanks to Sean Persaud for helping me film this video. Music from Epidemic Sound. Art by Sarah Kieley.

This is a SERIES? What a way to return to CZcams 😍
Haha, I hope so!! Planning on doing a little fundraising soon to help me make it! ♥️
So fun how genuinely excited you and Sean are!!!!
Thank you for watching, friend!
I better be invited to the nz trip
Pack your bags
This is such a DREAM! I love how they captured the Hobbit vibe but managed to keep everything modern too. And all of those doors, WOW!
Amazing, right??
I totally thought that main bedroom door was just a cool mural or a small closet when you first passed it - but then you opened it up!!! SO COOL.
Right?! I couldn't believe it!
I counted at least six “this is so cool”s and they were all warranted
This is so cool
So fun! I kind of love how it's a hobbit house only inside. Like a tardis!
Ooh I like that!
Wow that wood carving and the sheer giantess of everything inside what might otherwise seem like a small space from the outside!
So cool, right??
It's so fun watching (and/or hearing) you and Sean be excited about literally anything. Great first episode!
Thank you so much!!
This house is so cool and y'all put this format together perfectly!! Feels like a classic Travel Channel sort of show. Samantha Brown esque! Really excited for more of these hopefully!!
Ah, thanks! I actually haven't watched a ton of Travel Channel so I'm really happy to hear that. Thanks for watching!
i really respect the artist carving around the original nail in the door; keeping the door's history even while reworking it so it can be a part of something new.
😲😲😲
Me too!! Thank you so much, I hope I get to do more!
The door itself is so cool! “I thought that bedroom was the good one, but it’s this one!”
So amazing, right??
That is such a cute place! All the woodworking is incredible
Isn't it cool?? I was in awe!
I don't need a big house or a mansion, but something as comforting as a hobbit hole
i’ve been saving this video for the right time because i love the cute vibes and it’s perfect before sleep viewing! really hoping the campaign is successful!
Thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed it! :)
Love how beautifully thought out everything in that house is, and the craftsmanship is *chef’s kiss*! Thanks for taking us on a little tour and I’m excited to see where you go next!!! 😊
Thank you for watching! ❤️
So wonderful to see this much glee on your face, Mary Kate!
Nothing brings me glee quite like a hobbit house!
This is incredible I want to go! And such a good fun idea for a series.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it!
This house is so gorgeous! I can't wait for you to visit more Hobbit Houses!!!
Me too!!
This was such a fun video! So much attention to detail in this little hobbit house. Hope you get to do more of these videos.
Thank you, me too!
I love this for you!!!! What fun little details, those carved doors are INCREDIBLE
Aren't they amazing?!
What a cool space!!! The level of detail is AMAZING, I'm obsessed with both the doors!!
I know!! So incredible!
Love this!!! Now I just need a quick road trip with seven of my closest friends to stay here and have an LOTR marathon on that giant couch
Better start planning!
What a cute place! Thanks for sharing your experience! I remember seeing an article about one in Virginia and it looks like it's still up and running. It's in Fairfield, Virginia on airbnb - A Warm Hearth and "All the Comforts of Home".
Yes! I have a long list of them all over the US and that one's definitely on there! There are a few in Virginia, I think.
Ahhh this is amazing and I love it!
Thank you so much!
This was such a cool video MK! The house looks amazing with all the small details. Great vlogging Sean.
Glad you liked it!!
I had no idea this existed! Thank you for sharing these wonderful places with us
Thank you for watching!
What an adorable little place! Great video, your enthusiasm for it really shines through!
I'm never happier than in a Hobbit House 🥰
Ahh how cool! As an Arkansan I love that you featured such a cool house in Arkansas ☺️
I am an Arkansan too!
the modern Hobbit House, if Hobbits were in the 21st century!
MK, what a fun and exciting new venture for you!! I am quite excited to see all of these hobbit houses you find in the U.S. :D
Thanks Madi! I currently have a list of over 20!
@@emkaysmiles Wow for some reason that's a lot more than I expected, haha! Can't wait!!
Perusing that listing... I loved that outdoor fire pit. Did you use it? A very creative construction there. Did you end up buying one of their custom "Hobbit House" mugs?
Unfortunately no on both accounts! Our visit was very short as it was in between my brother's wedding and heading back to LA for work - we were only there one night and we got in pretty late. Would have loved to have given the fire pit a try!
Very fun video!!
Thank you 🤗
Your pure joy and delight in this is in turn a delight and joy for me to behold, especially as I am also a lover of Tolkien and Hobbiton, with dreams of going to New Zealand! Also, I have heard tell of a Hobbit home in Oregon, and if you can, you should definitely add it to the list to check out and share with all of us. :D
Oh it's definitely already on my list!! Thank you for watching! :)
So beautiful! I love the moss above the pots and pans, windows, and letter station! It looks like a wonderful stay! Thank you for sharing and i cant wait to see future ones :)
A cottage dream! Thank you for watching!
They must have had so much fun creating that
Hobbit house so cool
This is awesome, and I love that this will be a series!
Thank you! I hope you will enjoy! :)
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Ok, I’ll swing by, I’m only an hour away and this is affordable
💝💝
The cedar on the walls is throwing it off, big time. I don’t think Bilbo was living in 1970s US.
New Zealand series when. 😅😅😅
My dream!
You were in Russellville?! That's only an hour from me! Ugh.
You are my favorite Lydia. I'm so glad you enjoyed this trip and the Hobbit House. It would be fun to stay in for sure. Great idea for a series!!
I was there for my brother's wedding in Searcy. :) Thank you! We had a wonderful time!
Wonder where they got that fantastic ornamental hinge 3:01? It was obviously made for a hobbit house!
I believe it was all built/made specifically for this house! The owner was telling me how the width of the metal design is a little thicker than in the movies, but the design itself is the same.
It looks like a normal house to me🤷🏻♀️hobbit houses are mainly built small and semi underground. I think Frodo’s home had a tree growing around it. Their front door is circular. This house has some cool features to it but on the outside it just looks like a normal house! It kinda reminds me of a cabin on the inside! Does this home have a fireplace?
