- Back in 2016, Russian propagandists were ecstatic when Donald Trump became president of the United States. They were absolutely certain that he was going to be best friends with Vladimir Putin and ease up on the sanctions. Putin also didn’t shy away from paying compliments to the 45th president. Even though they were in fact quite cordial with each other, the sanctions not only weren’t lifted but became stricter. And their friendship didn’t last very long but now in 2024 it looks like they are looking to get back together. Watch the newest episode of Fake News to find out more.

Trump is more concerned about his country's economy. I think he understands that $30 trillion in debt could lead to collapse primarily in the United States and around the world too. Therefore, he does not intend to continue feeding Europe. It's time for Europe to start making friends with its neighbor, continuing to take cheap resources, as Germany did before the imposition of sanctions against Russia
Trump is only _ever_ concerned about himself. He cares just as little for the economic lives of everyday Americans as he does for our European allies. I've read that he was actually on the KGB's radar for years & was deliberately cultivated by Russian interests before he ever ran for office. I think he was also helping them launder money. You really can't put anything past this guy. He has no morals or loyalty to anything but himself.

I'm a first time American viewer. I like your instruction on Russian propaganda. I have subscribed so that I can learn more from you about this topic as well as news from a Russian perspective. And yes, I know you had to flee Russia and I'm sorry for the people of Russia for having lost a free press. I also hate the fact that Putin invaded Ukraine and has killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians as well as Russians. He is a criminal of the worst kind, a criminal with political and military power!

Very refreshing to have this point of view. Western media do not understand Maskirovka. It's terrible to think how easy it has been for Putin to appeal to one US presidents ego (Trump) and have him manipulate a mass of American peoples thinking, foreign policy and even alliances.

Trump has bragged about stopping the conflict in a couple of minutes or so and I believe he will at least try to do that. And stopping funding the Ukrainian resistance may be the way. I'm not sure but I expect it. This may help rekindle his bromance with Putler.
Sadly I Never thought trump could do it the first time around I didn’t think the United States would be that reckless this time around I think they Will vote him in because I lost my faith in them. That said the bromance was shakier than an astronaut’s pocket change during takeoff so I don’t think Trump would just jump into Putin’s arms.

That's why Trump should not attain that power again in order that he should not be given the opertunity to retain power. I believe Trump would attempt to do a "Putin" and push to have legislated an extension of the term of office of the presidency, with the claim that he needed more time to conplete basis that he would need more time to implement the goals and objectives.

BUT, Putin recently said he preferred the current President because Trump is unpredictable.That is true.
It is now a vital part of world reality that the three strongest nations on the planet work towards an open peace sustaining dialog reflected by there actions. But to reinforce the present breakdown of dialog with aggressive military actions, i would say tread with care and caution. When American military or civilians start dyeing at home or abroad i say nip it in the bud with the mighty power of the U.S. and the resources avaliable to us. As a Vet i sincerely regret the lives lost of our service men in the middle east in recent months but the lose of life because of border policies and cartel's weapon of mass distruction " FENTENYL" Has already killed more Americans than then all the wars in the Middle East over the last 20 yrs, the Twin Towers and the Vietnam War combined, All under the not so watchfull eye of the Joe Biden administration. And because there has been no significant decline if any in the death rate with our children i can't see that a whole lot is being done about it. Like him or not Trump would have never let this happen. This is one time in history if you vote for the party your children will die if you vote for the man they won't. Its your choice.
The Russian Fed is not a strong nation. Its a wannabe. 145 million people and their economy is weaker than Canada at 40 million people. The only thing they have is lots of territory and NUKEs. Trump is constantly in negotiation or campaign mode. He shouldn't be taken literally. Most politicians try to be obvious and clear in their positions and intentions. Trump often does the opposite. He wants every counterparty off-kilter. I'm not a Trump fan; I'm an independent who votes against every Dem I can. I couldn't bring myself to vote for Trump in 2016. He actually served very well on substantive issues despite the constant derision and distraction that came from the Dem establishment. I voted for him in 2020. On the Ukraine issue, he was the first to provide military aid to Ukraine. He did more than any other Western leader to enable Ukraine to defend itself. They would have been quickly conquered without him. I doubt that Russia would have invaded if Trump had been President at the time. I support Zalensky's strategic aim of entirely kicking the Russians out, but that seems more and more unrealistic. I don't think the Biden admin has ever supported that aim - actions speak louder than words. Their main aim is just to avoid a larger war/nuclear war. Trump, too, would likely favor a deal over kicking Russia out. However, Trump would be way more likely to hire the kind of miliatary/national security advisors who would insist on humbling Russia to some degree.

Putin has been at war for how many years of his 24 year presidency?
Syria, since 2015.
Ukraine, since 2014.
Invaded and stripped Georgia of 2 territories.
Invaded Chechnia twice for wanting to secede and installed a madman, Kadyrov.
Just those alone, don't for the moment think of all the other issues he generates.
