@@ryannnftw I also bought the SE and its my first ever iphone ever, have been an android geek all my life, and this is the best iphone to start of, battery not that great but still decent and doable, Im a light user when I’m outside so the battery wont drain fast, and a heavy user in gaming when at home. The thing I like is the performance for gaming, the best I’ve experienced so far, I dont mind having a small screen too

The Taptic Engine is really one of apple greatest most underrated features. The vibration feels so high quality while normal vibration motors feel pretty cheap in comparison

I really love how they did it too. Shows they can keep cost down and still give you the important parts new. The taptic feedback should out last the home button being it’s not a mechanical button. But really it’s just maintaining the battery and maybe the switches. I think I could squeeze 10yrs out of it. Got 6yrs out of the 5s. Thanks for the tear down, would have loved to see the A13 in the video and not just on the cover. But great video overall.

I really love how we get an official up rating and also the Qi charge. The se is dope, quickly becoming my favorite phone I have ever had. All I’ve ever bought are flagship android phones before this SE 2020 so gonna be a hard move but that just shows how much I enjoy this thing. It is lightning fast... no joke

Your videos helped me find the phone that lasts! From when I first picked in buying the Pixel, to now this iPhone SE. Mostly because you have shown me the whole process from the durability to the tear down to replace parts (like the battery). I strongly think that apple is making a good move in not changing everything internally and keeping things some what simple to repair (minus all the different size screws).
screen and battery are the most important things of a phone. they changed the battery connector so likely you would need a new battery ..
I just switched from a Samsung galaxy s8 to the iPhone SE. It’s a good update if u ask me, I was scared at first but no worries it’s totally worth it

Yes, the SE was able to tear me away from Android. With the way it seamlessly integrates with my iPad Pro there is no going back, but now I want an iPhone with a larger screen.

I had the original 4 when it launched. It died about a year after that. Switched to android and used android for years - had a few galaxies and then was on the google nexus and then pixel and I’ve come full circle back to the SE2. I like it

I find this guys voice very relaxing? Makes the videos even more entertaining to watch
one more thing on the haptic: The “Click” On the iphone 7 and above is actully just a haptic vibration. It never clicks down. Its a stationary plate thats glued to the screen of the phone. It just detects pressure and thermal heat to see if it is a fingerprint pressing or just a key in your pocket. Also when you get a notification and your phone is in your pocket it never turns on. It waits until you pick it up

Im a full on android user. I got this phone as a backup upgrade from walmart for $200. Pretty good for the camera, and the ability to find accessories for it. It won't be my main phone, but a solid backup.

Yes it did tempt me. For 10 years I was stuck in the android world for simply not being able to afford any better. This year however I finally switched to iPhone 11 which for the quality it gives is still a deal to snatch me,or rather free me from the laggy android reality.
I bought the new SE for my mom, so I don’t feel alone in the ecosystem, and she loves it a lot more than her previous androids.
The quality does matter.
As an Android user, the two things keeping me from switching are the lack of USB-C and the lack of any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs (e.g. aptX, LDAC). The Taptic Engine is seriously impressive in use though; it amazes me how tapping that home button genuinely feels like there's a real physical button in there!

Actually the taptic engine is one of the best features on iPhone! It makes the user experience so much better, and is so clever that a device you use in your hands all the time, should have perfected the taptic feedback!
