    Finally, someone discussing the true benefit of being able to do a pull up! My main motivation for fitness is functionality and being able to hang from stuff or hoist myself up onto stuff without dying (or just feeling super sad and weak) is a huge motivator! Great video, I definitely needed a reminder to just get up there and put in the practice!

      My main motivation is saving time lol. Pull up uses multiple muscle groups simultaneously and exhausts my energy pretty quickly. So I do pull ups to reduce my time in the gym.

    Hi, Juna. I am trying to do pull ups six months now. Did 1. Your video motivates me to continue trying. I want to do 10 in a row. Lets see.

    great video!! I feel embarrassed to admit but I hadn't been retracting my shoulder blades at all during lat pull downs and was wondering what I could be doing wrong lolol. Thank you again and hope to do at least one pullup a year from now with your tips

    I finally did 3 sets with 6 reps with the purple band. It feels so hard though. Trying your tips next week! Thanks:)

    Thanks for the video Juna. It was good to see where you started and how consistent practice improved your pull-ups! Today was day 1 for me using two bands (1 heavy, 1 med) and wow do I wish I was lighter!
    Definitely trying your scap pull ups tomorrow

    I am nearly 50 and have never done a single pull up in my life.
    So you are officially hardcore doing 5+.💪

    I consider myself to be a strong girl I left petty heavy at my gym but I can’t do pull ups. I can only do them assisted. I am going to follow your videos. Hopefully it helps.

    I am so glad this video popped up on my for you page! I’m trying to train to go to special forces in the military and so need to be able to do 10 pullups. So far I have been
    Successful in doing one. But I’m trying to do a lot more. Does anyone have any tips?

      Hey girl! That’s awesome! I would say, practice them often, make sure that you have good form, and also make sure you are getting in enough protein and good sleep so that you can actually increase your muscle mass and strength to be able to do more!

    What's the resistance of green band? I am using band having a resistance of 60-160 pounds but i am unable to do with it do i need to use more heavier one?

      Yes!! I think you need a heavier band… you should get a band where you can at least do 6 per set
