Joel was the biggest Ahole for the years I knew who he was (and never saw Community) so. It surprised but good to hear all this time later it all caught up to him

Maybe it’s a lack of community across our country that makes for the shifty sands of self and confidence. Meh, just a thought.
I think you are on the something. In a small town, the baby of two dumb people will be seen as dumb for the rest of their lives, IF, that baby stays in the community...but! If the baby leaves the community, it gains the ability to have it's own life and reputation without the history that comes from belonging to a community.

Except it's not great being here. You're 2 achievers living in a world structured around you pursuing your ego. That's hell for the rest of us still here in The Grind making the world function so you can think yourself better. AI gonna rectify that, though. Already has "creatives" freaking out. It's beautiful.
