i have no idea were all these idea's come from .your brain seem's to work in greater way's than most people's.to make the clip is one thing but to then make a jig and a tool to bend them is mindblowing.epic.stay safe. gary.
4mm stainless rod is fairly cheap by the length and would be plenty strong enough. i bought a heap of it a few years ago to make some racks for my smoker.
Hi John I've bought stainless steel 4mm x6 meter solid rod to make s hooks it cost $10.00 a length it's cheaper then buying a bag of tent pegs look up your local stainless steel supplier next time you go to town.
4 mm is not strong enough. Stainless is not suitable I have plenty. It rusts the barb wire. When I bought the place the last bloke used stainless for tie wire it ate out the gal barb wire in 2 years rusted through on every post. I can buy 3/8 ss rod for $20 a length. John
John, I like your jig for making the fencing clips and your idea of using the tent pegs gives you a nice strong clip. The clip installer is a great addition to your fence tightening kit. Necessity is the mother of invention and you have a winning combination.
Hi there, I can provide you some advice if you'd like. Your video quality is excellent, however the number of views is quite low. You'll see a significant spike in video views as a result. I'm sure you'll find these suggestions to be quite helpful.
