  • In the previous Peace Lily video, I said that I will be propagating my peace lily from the mother plant and grow in the water safely, without any fear of having a Fungal attack. So today I am back with the video where I have actually shown how to propagate a peace lily plant and then grow them in water, avoid the Algae growth inside water plants.

    Hi. I transferred my peace lily into water as it suffered from root rot. I cut all the roots and while the leaves are doing fine, i noticed that the roots are actually not growing and it’s been 2 weeks already. Any suggestions please? I am using just filtered water.

    • @MMMPlants
      @MMMPlants  Před 2 lety

      Yes you can keep it in water forever and if you change the water every week then it will stay healthy! If its warm and humid then it will bloom for sure! No direct sun and black leaves maybe because of heat so if you ever keep it in soil then make sure that it doesn not get sun at all and you water only when the leaves drop down!

    • @MMMPlants
      @MMMPlants  Před 2 lety +1

      Drooping is mainly because the plant is in shock due to sudden change but if the plant is placed properly in water and in complete shade then it should be fine soon! Yes peroxide is good but I honestly never felt the need of it!

      Glass pot is good, ceramics are good, teracotta is an option! I personally do not prefer to use plastic as it requires more maintenance and plastic is not good for any living creature. Also I would say thermocol sounds interesting, I havent used it for water plants but would love to try that.
