There is a bit of movie on your slow motion Zack
I came here after Charlie’s dedication to write down every slow mo scene. She really does fight like she’s playing beat saber and then has 2 layers of slow mo 😂
Hahahahaha same here 😂
Same 💀
honestly, I'm surprised those enemy soldiers didn't high five and say "easy clap" when they beat the shit outta her
More slow mo farming
same. he described the scene better than it looked
this movie feels like it tried to adapt SUPERHOT into StarWars
thats the perfect way to describe it, the characters are moving the mouse really slow XD
With more slow motion
2:00
Ah yes, the classic ignore the actual threat in order to randomly lift and choke a child with no plan or purpose
Also there is no way that kids tiny knife went through that dude armor
@@NoCake then it must be a Star Wars movie after all empire always has the shitty armor lol 😂
@@NoCake Armor was on the upper body and arms. Lower body looked to be padding. Also, a knife doesn't have to be long to reach vital targets on the human body.
it’s about as bad as the dagger based weapon that magically disappeared in that one star wars fight scene with rei
the deadliest assassin in the entire universe, who has a hard time with 4 random soldiers in the entire movie, in fact some unnamed villagers have higher kill counts than her
as far as i concern, Zack Snyder wanted to make everything by himself, from cinematography to choreography because people always thought he did all of that in his previous movies, and it shows here
the Batman warehouse scene (and every normal but also badass looking action scene) were directed by stuntman and choreographer Damon Caro, he was the 2nd directing unit
im not saying Snyder shoud quit making movies, but he should leave the specific works for professionals
Ironic tht the only semi likeable and interesting character he decides to kill off 😂😂
That’s what I’m saying there was no need for her death
Nah, if the first rebel moon had a better review, he would've written her to live, this seems like a plea from the actress to zack to kill her off. 😅
They build her up as a pre-eminent bad-ass and she winds up getting killed far too soon and far too easily.
It took me way too long to realize I left my settings at x1.5 speed
As someone who's never watched this movie/series, this fight seems very silly. The choreography and the special effects are trying to sell it, but it just doesn't quite have that feeling of professional having a fight. It honestly looks like people play fighting.
Can people tell me if the rest of this movie's good?
😅 no, this is basically a star wars rip off with a good dose of cowboy and all of Snyder's directing flaws. If you are a *big* fan of Snyder and very open then feel free to watch on a stream site from a friend.
You can skip the first half to watch the action of the second half. This movie is less interesting than part one.
It isn’t. It really isn’t.
I hated that all these people were in here and only the little boy jumped in to help her 🤦♀️
-Soldier cuts the farmer girls gun in half with a heat sword
-He picks her up for….reasons
-Soldier dies because he was written to be another brainless Storm Trooper
Brilliant choreography, can’t wait for the extended cut.
Out of all the boring as hell characters, Nemesis was the only one that stuck out to me and the subplot that they appeared to be setting up with her and the kid would have been a great way to bring some heart but it’s barely acknowledged and then she just dies. Fucking waste of potential.
Bae Doona is too good to be in this trash
All the cast members, extras and even the landscape are too good to be in this movie.
@@lazuruswolf6668The only thing good enough being in this movie is the director.
The Cyber Ronin Nemesis from Rebel Moon has become one of my favorite characters in this universe, yes, of course, I understood that one of the seven warriors could die. But Nemesis death at the Battle of the Veldt was the key fact that she completed her crusade against the Imperium to avenge the murder of her children, and then find peace and fulfill her destiny so much that I really felt sad when she died. But it was going to happen anyway.
I praise Zack Snyder for creating a character like Nemesis and then giving her a bad ending, but at the same time they will create a solo prequel about her in comics form. And in the director's version, a serious bloodbath and more detailed flashbacks will begin, which we are definitely waiting for.
@@user-bw8yz4oh9y Yes😉
What’s the song?
I never thought I’d be bored watching an action scene
If you're going to use slow motion this much, then the action needs to be more interesting. You can justify it if the action is just so cool people want to see more, if so much is going on that it's needed or if the characters just move to fast to track normally. But none of this is particularly epic, it is very simple. I could watch this scene without slomo and put it at 2 times speed and still have a very good idea of what's happening.
I think the slow mo made the scene a lot worse. If it was in real time it could at least hide it's flaws.
Yeah like 300. It worked in that but not this 💯
This movie is awful - I shouldn’t be happy that one of the main protagonists died 💀
I thought the noble was far more interesting than any of the "rebels"
@doobadood and even he got pieced up 😂
i was soooooo mad abt her death she was the only reason i kept watching!! and i just love the little circle thing she does when she starts up her swords 😫. i wish this movie had a better director or something bc this had potential.
Slow motion can be cool but this is not it. The moves are so simple and lame, why have it in slow motion?
I mean some shots looked cool, like here 0:29
This makes the Mandalorian look like Citizen Kane
If only this was how every character in the movie ended up except for the Admiral
Some of those moves do indeed look a tiny bit better if you speed them up. Not a good sign if you specifically opted to show them in slow mo.
Does zack know that there's a thing as stunt double? Who actually knows how to do swordplay?
He can do edits for certain scenes if he wanted facial expressions from the actress, this felt like it was all her.
Thought Ridiculous Moon couldn't get more terrible than part 1 but it seems Snyder upped his game. Netflix would have to pay me to endure the suffering of watching part 2.
Her music is so cool 😭
Lamest samurai ever.
2:46 and I love how this movie’s one attempt at establishing a friendship via visual storytelling and not two jackasses monologuing at each other is completely thrown in the garbage halfway through. Great writing, Zack. 10/10
I'm surprised she lost a hand so quickly.
Anakin niño perdió a su nueva madrastra. Justo el día del reestreno de su pelicula, y 1 semana antes del día de la madre
why did everyone press dislike 😭 they just posted the clip, but they're catching strays lmaoooo. im glad they posted the clip so i could watch the cringe to see what penguinz0 was referring to when he explained this scene. this is so funny
what is the music name?
Up
She fought till the end😢
They killed her off so easily. And then they kill off another one of the best Protagonists. wtf is Zack doing 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Nauseating
Name music ??? 👀
Would have been nice to actually care about this character, but you know, I guess that’s optional in film making
Wow, Charlie was right lmao
Heyy. Yeah, wanted to see if it was as bad as he said. It is
light trail > smoke trail
Eh... still better than Rise of Skywalker's fights at least
0:18 MADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD 0:17
looks like deathstrike
The fight itself is lame af i ain't gonna lie. Zack really did not cook in part 1 and especially this one
BUT the music in this scene is so kick ass, it's a different version of "Ogumo| Cruel Mother" from part 1 which was already an amazing track.
It's a downright tragedy this ain't on the soundtrack
For real about the music.
I've been looking around for it, but it seems to just be a cut up and re-edited version of Cruel Mother.
Damn shame, would've loved to have that rendition on the soundtrack.
i dont understand why some of the blandest shots are the ones slowed down
I love this whole fight! Reminds me of WW and no man’s land. Fvck the haters 😂 thanks for supporting ZS vision by watching, bitchin, and constantly talking about him.
So.. there’s lightsabers in these movies? Damn did they ripoff SW that hard?
Zack Snyder really likes to ruin his films, which are no longer great, with this slowmotion crap
He ruined nothing with it. Yall just overreact to it.
@@thewitcherking937 It's impossible to not find ridiculous unless you've already decided that you love everything the dude makes. It's absolutely dreadful, and unnecessary. It's not impactful slowmo, it's extremely lazy slowmo to give all the air of impact without anything remotely cool or interesting happening. The scene is unironically better in 2x speed. Not to mention that the slowmo is so moronically slow that it is STILL SLOW IN 2X SPEED.
@@fahrenheit2101 it's easy not to don't it ridiculous unless you've decided that you have everything the man does. It wasn't dreadful and unnescesary is a pointless claim cause everything in a film is unnescesary and is there cause the filmmaker wants it there. There is nothing lazy about the slow mo. It doesn't always need something cool to happen for slow mo to be used. That's your subjective view. How is it moronically slow?
@@thewitcherking937 There were 20 full minutes of slow motion. And yet the action was... average. At best. The slow motion is probably a gimmick at this point, and a laughable one. Sure, it's subjective, but it's objectively true that 20% of this goddamn movie is moving too goddamn slowly.
Of course the filmmaker wants it there, it's his thing. It worked in 300 and now he puts it literally everywhere, apparently. But it doesn't take a critic to notice that it's not really impactful when it drags on for so ridiculously long.
And no, I don't hate everything the man does. I know almost nothing about him. But my God does this scene suck.
She hardly even puts up a fight against a bunch of random people, and yet the slowmo tries to make it look far more epic than it actually does, solely because this is her death scene and it needs to be all dramatic, so the slowmo makes up for the subpar choreography by making all the fans go "omg so cool its going slowly thats insanneeeee" for the millionth time.
Yep, that is indeed trash.
SUPER
HOT
I heard this scene was terrible but it's not bad. Not sure what people are talking about.
you must have not watched the same clip, this was terrible. slow motion on uninteresting parts, bad choreography, theres just nothing to go off of here except theyre trying to use vfx to sell the scene and it doesnt work
@@soulofartorias9928 He might have had 2x on from his last youtube experience. Which, I might add, makes the scene digestible.
@@brandonrittenberg5870 It's still painfully slow in 2x speed
Why does she like revenant from apex?
This movie is trash don’t bother watching it
Laugh all you want but this scene shows the intricate beauty and artistic structure of harmonious fighting metaphors within its 'chaotic environments': as the soldiers (the side of darkness) attempt to break down the village defenses, Nemesis (guardian of goodness within her devilish vessel) activates her lightsabers, scorching the floor not only to create a perimeter but also to redeem herself for the crimes of her ancestors, to prove her worthiness to protect the villagers as not to repeat the tragedy that befell her life (the one that forced to cut off her real arms and have them implemented with the 'Devil's Arms'). The imperial soldiers barged through the fallen doors, Nemesis steadies her fighting stance and immediately deflects the laser shots, emphasizing her quick reflexes thanks to her years of discipline.
From there, Zack Snyder carefully maneuvers camera angles and lighting (the sun rays are signified here as the 'Gods' witnessing the fight, deciding the fate of these characters) as well as excellent and meaningful use of slow-mo to demonstrate more of Nemesis' gentle yet tenacious rage flowing through her veins, with defeated soldiers showered with glistening lava-like debris splattered in artistic directions amidst the angelic haloes of the lightsabers, clashes between the two colored sides of good and evil (albeit averted here where good is evil and evil is good).
At the end, Nemesis won the duel but with a price: as she knells on the floor, a child she made acquaintances earlier comes to her, telling her not to die but the fallen warrior knows better, with her sombre yet hopeful gesture and expression, not only she bonds with someone she never knew she'll ever have in her life but to reassure him that life will triumph over the grips of the Motherworld, only to die peacefully in this inspiring piece of work inspired by Zack's personal tragedy, not to mention emotional orchestration by Junkie XL.
