Amazingly funny movie. One of his best but sadly didn’t perform at the box office. Weirdly, all the critics slate it. They don’t know comedy. The trial phone call is next level funny also. Ben Stiller genius at work.

I've never understood why people didn't like this film. It was brilliant.
I guess it depends on the environment at the time. Bad advertising,or other hits at the time. But there will never be a Jim Carrey
Not only was pure comedy, but it also had quite a message about social and mental issues.
Probably people were not used for Jim Carrey playing a bad guy.

As much of a comedy this film is , it’s also a great psychological thriller. Jim portrays the funny and the psycho so good . One of my fav films ever

As a kid I remember being very concerned for Jim Carrey's character.
Watched this only a couple times as a young guy. And this comment is why. It's more brilliant and amazing watching this now, but as a kid, I was a little scared. XD
