- “There was nobody that trained harder in those training sessions than I did, whether you were male or female.”
Former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies speaks about her experience as an athlete and attributes misogyny in sport to “totally and utterly a men's rights movement.”

Well done, excellent discussion Sharron Davies has clarity and strength.
Men and women are built differently. Feminists often find it hard to stomach this fact. When it comes to physical performance in sport, men are generally superior. This doesn't mean they're better human beings, but better athletes.
As men, we have an "unfair" advantage when it comes to testosterone and other hormones. Other species such as lions (panthera leon), also exhibit sexual dimorphism.
We can still celebrate women's sport. Each female athlete can be just as dedicated and driven to succeed. Men are men, and women are women. Let's celebrate each other rather than fixate on unrealistic fantasies.
"Whatever they FEEL like..."
I can FEEL activists getting triggered 🙂
I always liked Sharron Davies when I was a kid,but I admire and respect her even more now for the way she speaks out on such topics.
Well done Sharon Davies!
People - including women - are just less interested in womens sports. How many WNBA players or soccer players on international level can women name? Less viewers equals less money
There are no discussions in this video of how popular female or male sports are. Thats just a totally different subject. Have you actually seen the video ?
@janpeterbaark7540 you're completely wrong. Sharron does talk about that at the beginning by way of an "it's already so unfair that womens sports don't get enough money" nonsense before she launches into her attack on Trans athletes (all the while using feminist catch phrases like misogyny, and pretending like feminism is totally innocent and had nothing to do with Trans women entering women's sport. Sorry, feminism is 100% the ONLY reason Trans women entered women's sport)
@@frakismaximus3052The citation that you gave doesn’t occur (I have listened to the whole interview again) but she does talk about lower TV exposure and fewer sponsorships. But those things are market driven and I too believe that it’s not unfair that people are more interested in men’s sports. It’s how the world is. But doping and trans women competing in women’s sports is unfair.
@@janpeterbaark7540 so yes she is a hypocrite in denouncing the disgusting transmen takeover of women sports on one side and taking the feminist side of wanting equal pay for unequal viewership, in any case she's a misandrist
@@frakismaximus3052
How is feminism the only reason trans “women” got into women’s sport?
And it is generally women and some “powerful” men who promote the rights of trans people to choose their “sex”.
Truth
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I can't understand why all Trans are not classified as disabled. then a whole new world is open is open for all. BTW I am so tired of the whole debate. As for SD I fully support her views
She's just another feminist hypocrite.
But a fully intact man like will something in swimming definitely isn’t disabled.
They are not disabled, why should disabled people have to compete with someone who doesn't have any disability.
Mentally disabled yes, physically no they arent. It's like when people say men who 'identify as' should use the disabled access toilet.
We need an Olympics just for victims. We have the regular Olympics for regular athletes, Special Olympics for handicapped folks why not a Special Victims Olympics? You could have all kinds of victim narratives as sports; whining, complaining, crying, excuse making, etc.
What a pathetic attitude to have!
Unfortunately... Women have to fight as always or... " Here Endeth Women's Sport"....
I agree that transgender's should not compete against with women who were born women but in pro sports the game has to support it self.
Let the trans community hold their own games. Funded by the IOC. That should stop the moaning.
The women's Olympic soccer team will explain everything that you need to know..😂😂
You mean the women's Olympic Kick Ball team don't you?
Teen boys can beat a female Olympic athlete 😅
As an Australian man, I can tell you Aussie women and men, will not hold back women in sport! That in part, is why so many Aussie women are worlds best, or at least vastly exceed standards for their numbers in world sport.
LOL . Women & sports? What a total joke
Sounds like you are the joke.
Transphobic nonsense, apart from the few seconds where you pretended to actually care about sexism in sport.
😂😂😂😂
No it's not. Reality & biological facts aren't phobic, if you can't see the advantage male puberty has on a body then you must be blind and not understand the difference between facts and fiction
@@WooWoo-co4jf The video is nothing to do with science, it's a transphobic rant by 3 middle-aged women none of whom are scientists of any kind as far as I know. If they had focused on science instead of conspiracy theories about the Olympics & trying to trigger people there would be more to discuss, but I don't think there are persuasive arguments for changing the rules to discriminate anyway.
@@candidbowyer4625
Change the rules to discriminate? Are you on the sherry? The only reason there is a female category in sport to begin with is because societies give sport a dispensation TO discriminate! Same with age and weight categories that exclude people being a particular age or weight.
All protected categories in sport are discriminatory: they are intended to be.
You don't have to change the rules TO discriminate you would have to change the rules to NOT discriminate!
@@noelplum99 Trans people can compete in the Olympics as the sex they transitioned to. I'm pretty sure these 3 want to change that, hence the rant.
Womens sports=yawn
You. Completye yawn. Get over it.
How dare you! 😱🤬
