They’ll be fluctuations, but it’ll be a $200 for awhile at its peak. Probably steady out at $120 after the dust settles and we get on to the next generation.

I bought my son the Magikarp on April 5th for $62 plus $9 to ship because I seen Giratina going up. I am a huge Shinji Kanda fan. I always felt it was undervalued and should have been higher than the Iono but I didn't expect it to go much higher then $100 and now at $130 it might be a little overvalued. I think a reprint will drop it to $100 or so. I actually think the Japanese version at about $25 to $30 might be a good play. In a few years when the English one is $300 the Japanese has to be hittin $150 to $200.

The Japanese card is even more over priced. If you buy a Triple Beat booster box you have a 25% chance of pulling the card and a Japanese booster box is only like 1/3 the price of English.

people paying all that money for this card seem to have forgotten reprints are a thing. iv legit pointed out to people that the pokemon anime taught us about how scamming works using a magikarp that james bought for 500 dollars and now they are all falling for it just like james did lol.

Probably be around $80-$100 once the dust settles. Still not as easy to pull as most think and the art is clearly great
I believe Eevee from TM will do a similar stunt eventually but maybe it will be able to keep it up, since pull rates for TM are abysmal.
