  • Jonathan Ward, senior fellow at Hudson Institute, joins Marshall Kosloff to discuss the economic threats of the Chinese Communist Party, arguing that now is the time to build up America’s industrial base, and that private industry and US political leaders needs to unite to defeat the CCP economically-or risk losing the decade to China and presaging future conflict.

This author is out of touch with Wall Street. This time of the year most of the American capitalists are going to Beijing to pay tributes to China. Forget about decoupling. If anything the integration is going to be even stronger. Let that sink in.

Let Trump come in. He will slap a 60% tariff on China and cut all investment and technology ties with China. Then China will retailiate and cut off American companies from China market. That will be doing what America wants for it. That will be decoupling. And most of it doesn't require China-controlled US Congress. It can be done through IEEPA act, export controls, trade office, and CFIUS which president controls. That way, you wumaos will be disappointed and China's "peaceful rise" will end permanently.

Question why Elon Musk give most of his patients for free to the whole world to make electric autos specially for the Chinese???? Now Tesla can't sell cars in China with out government intervention 😢

Not give away. More like barter. Lucrative Chinese market in exchange of Tesla technology.

because Musk thought as the other westerners that china's tech will never catch up with that of the west and laughing at china is what should be doing. the same thing happened to the ceo of ASML too when he changed his tone on china's chip making tech from china will never learn how to make chips even if we give them the blueprint to china is a huge country and there are so many smart people...

@@2KSnSLifestyle Tesla technology is a myth, PSA Peugeot and GM, TOYOTA have been making EV's way before TESLA.
There's nothing special about Tesla... Today TESLA is depending on Chinese BYD Blade technology Batteries... That says a lot.
