This motor looks very familiar lol. It was great to meet you and I wish you the best. If you need anything, don't hesitate to get ahold of me and I'll be happy to help out in any way I can.
Great to see you making more videos! To make a build less boring, try doing stuff not very many people have thought about doing. Like a sbc 307 stroker or a sbc 283 stroker. Let me know if making 330 to 365 cubes out of those 2 blocks interest you, I figured out some budget off the shelf parts that will make it work. The 330 would be using a sbc 350 crank and the 365 would be a 383 crank. The 283 blocks will require extra crank work though to turn the mains down. Topped off with either 305 or 350 Vortec heads would make great runners that would be WAY better than a crappy stock boring rebuild. Doing a video on a budget 307 stroker build will probably break the internet! 😲 LOL Look at all the hits VGG got with his 307 budget build video. You throw stroker and budget in the title = instant hit. Throw one of the Chinese 383 cast steal cheap cranks in a 307 and you can make a 365 with a .060" overbore. A great option for someone with a 307 block they can use instead of trying to find a a good 350 core to build. It won't make as much power as a 383 but will make more than a 350 would. Let me know, and I can email my phone number to you if you're interested?
@@tlcbear2 Something different anyway because it's different should get a lot of interest if you make that video? You know you could repost some of your older videos with maybe some new editing? Or add some info if you know the history of that certain build. It doesn't have to be new builds all the time. Maybe some video if you can get it from some older builds in their vehicle running? You can edit the video or series to one video with that engine running and or story time with Bear about how that build made the person who ended up with it happy? Just a couple out of the box ideas to keep posting videos without all the physical work of making one. Maybe a voice over as the video is playing like those "directors cut" movies that have the director commentary? You have plenty of videos to work with. Best wishes for you and your family, Derek
Hey good to see a video I've been busy and not online as much so haven't caught a live chat in a long time. Always up for a chevy build wishing I could get going on my projects, but thanks to the current presidency and inflation going to be awhile. Hope things get better for you all you can do is take things a day at a time.
