- The Minecraft Create mod is a delight for anyone who loves a bit of engineering and tinkering with contraptions without actually having to get your hands dirty. This little tutorial aims to help you build your first early game iron farm - iron being probably the most useful block in the game after andesite alloy.

This honestly is an amazing tutorial, and super beginner friendly. The way you explain how things should look and what it does in simpler terms! Really amazing!
Very good tutorial! Was super helpful. Thank you for coming back and making tutorials again 😁
Thank you so much for these tutorials, they are extremely easy to follow and satisfying to watch. thank you!
this was my first create project ever thank you for this! i learned a lot
Best Create beginner tutorials IMO, very well done! ...and the accent to top it off :)
Nice video! Dude keep uploading.
Thanks so much! This is gonna help my solo playthrough so much!! Easy to follow along with and to the point.
This is amazing, keep up the great content we'd love some more
Very thorough and beginner friendly! Thank you for helping me take that intermediate step on my create mod journey! 😂
Great Work. Simple and fast. this i was looking for 👍
thank you this is exactly what I needed in my world
lowkey the goat, stuff works well and is easy to follow through with.
Super beginner friendly, thank you so much!
thank you so much, this is a nice and easy to follow guide
WOW! Lego level directions and explanations. Good job and thanks.
Yeah I totally agree on that one lol. Lego level explanation for us Lego Level architects. Very usefull.
An awesome tutorial👍
that was so easy to build as my first farm!!! thank you so much!
loved this build! thank you :D
Thank you so much I was trying to make a iron farm for 2 hours then I found your video thank you so much
Thank you, this helped me a lot! :)
As someone new to heavily modded Minecraft, in this case Create: Arcane Engineering (what a learning-curve to drop into!), you present your work very well an in a relaxed, easygoing manner. Thank you for your work in this video!
Exactly! I'm starting a create: perfect world run and just the calmness in her voice just let my fly through this tutorial
thanks, simple and easy to follow
after building this (in 1.20.1) I found out that it moved slower than in the video, it turns out you can just:
stick a large wheel into a cog - connect it with a shaft - to another large wheel into a cog (increases speed)
extend out the mechanism a few bit and connect everything with shafts and then everything's moving at how it is in the video
👍
Could you show me your setup? I’m also trying to do the same thing
Newer water wheels don't work the same way the old ones do, but as I found stacking the large ones in the modern version can actually be more efficient.
Great Tutorial Ty
i just learned about being able to turn gravel into iron nuggets because of this tutorial! thank you so much!
Thank you for an Early Game One! Everyone is always like, "and now that you've played this for 12 days this is how you do this easy thing"
Awesome tutorial, just what I needed, I’m a bit tired of those crazy builds labeled as beginner (those are nice but I need something attainable for beginning)that require glitching and can only be built with a schematic cannon.
thank you this one is super good
Amazingly helpful! Thank you. I did have to add a 4th water wheel and a 3rd fan for it to work but both were super easy to do with your great instructions. My guess is its a mod pack setting adjustment.
Must be some settings you have changed, I was actually able to remove 1 fan altogether and still wash 100% of the time
same, astral modpack
I just started playing with the Create mod, and I still haven't figured out what side of a Blaze Burner attaches to a mixer. But thanks to you, me and my friends can now have infinite iron and flint, that is very usefull. Thank you!
great video maahn
such a great tutorial
Hey, TyraLore if your reading my comment So Big ThankYou Because I was suffering from lack of Iron and Nuggets To make andsite alloy and you make it easier for me and sorry for poor english (I am your Big Fan Love from India/Asia)
Thanks, nice tutorial
I'm literally just 2 days into create mod and i already understood how this works, very great tutorial, i hope you can also make a gold farm machine tutorial
amazing video and thanks for the great explanation! Def gained the sub.
But I do notice my cobblestone-chest filling up and almost being full. Is my millstone too slow?
Edit. Yep my lava generator is too fast, or the millstones are too slow. The whole cobblestone chest gets full and drops the cobble below the belts.
very helpful tutorial❤
Great video
Thanks I was looking for a design that didn't use the late game gadgets.
Nice video thank youuuu
Thank you!
jsut found out create mod and im loving it
Just watching this like a year later. I just want to say thanks for this whole playlist ill be watching. And fuck that guy who said these are bad. Ive been binge watching for the past couple hours. THANKS AND CHEERS🎉
wow amazing
for a more space efficient cobble generator you can waterlog the drills instead of placing the adjacent stairs.
and then you can build below y 0 and not generate deepslate
I don't remember what version of MC it came out, but in 1.20.1 you can put leaves infront of the fans and water log them instead of using trap doors.
That is a very good point which I completely forgot. Thanks :D
super helpful, not convoluted, to the point. very helpful for my ADHD brain
thanks, ima try this on the dawncraft modpack, do you think it will work?
Hi!
Super tutorial. It's really useful as i'm just starting minecraft and create.
Is there a way to cut off the drilling system but keep the grinders and fans alive? I sometime want to use the grinders with what i put in the chest but since there is a constant afflux of stones, the grinders do not release my items.
you can put a clutch between the chain drive and the drill with a lever to engage the clutch, as long as your drills are the only thing powered in line with the clutch, they'll be the only thing that turns off
I love your tutorials but it would be good if you could put a full list of needed materials in the description. Being new to create I can't always tell what things are just by looking
Do you have a link to a schematic for this? Love your stuff and videos
gracias por el video
PERFECT
Thanks
Hello! Great video!
It works perfectly, however, I must ask, what version are you using? I noted that your drills and millstones are really fast compared to mine.
I'm on [1.19.2 / 0.5.1.c], maybe it's a different version or just visual difference?
Anyway, thanks for the video! It was really easy to follow and early game farms like there are really helpful.
they changed a lot of thin in the newer version
They changed how waterwheels work a bit in 0.5.1, they basically made them simpler to use but you can't get them spinning as fast.
i just added more water wheels
Thanks for the tutorial! Mine has an issue though, cobblestone comes out of only one of the funnels, so all the load is on just one of the millstones, which eventually clogged up. Does this have something to do with the recent changes?
Happened to me as well
It is because he used andesite funnel instead of the brass one, these two type of funnel act differently from each other. The brass can let a whole stack move out, while the andesite one only let one at a time
I fixed that problem with mine by putting a second stack of cobble in the first chest.
basically the cobble was being produced too slowly and it was only coming out of 1 funnel, by placing a second stack in the chest it started the second funnel going.
tysm
ty! my friends server is about to reset and im excited to test this and build this to help me get iron early on because im a slut for iron in minecraft XDDD ty again
Bro is millstone Ava ke in 1.20.1 cuz I can’t find it even withJEI pls help I spent so long getting resources
Mines going to 1 millstone but both connected is that normal
Hi i was wondering what computer you are useful to run the create mod smoothly
I have a very budget gt 1030 computer running create mod fine
can someone plz tell me why my cogs are moving slower than in the video? I did everything the exact same including the same blocks
You are probably in create 5.1 and not earlier, in 5.1 the large Waterwheels where added and made waterwheel not spin faster when they have more flowing water but they added the large waterwheels that generate more power but not more speed, so you need more cogs, so you have more du if you use large waterwheels you should have the power, so just add cogwheels
But how do i mage ignots
Hello, do you by any chance know why mine cogwheels have overstressed? It overstressed after placing the small cogwheel at 13:35
I fixed it by just placing another water wheel down.
glad you got it fixed :)
@@Piiotreqheyi got the same problem, it got overstress I try to put a water wheel, and it don't work
How to build auto totem for create
Since the update, is there a way to make the crushers go faster?
you COULD add a rotation controller, or extend your gear ratio further before running it into the millstones.
And here I am, new game, very bad seed (but i refuse to pick another one, because.. reasons), and absolutely no villagers in a 10 minute boat ride radius. (yeah, i'm on an island in the ocean). So no golem farm, and here's the first ever time I learned you simply wash gravel for nuggets...
Wish I installed Create much earlier 🤣
Thanks for the tut!
What version are you using?
will this work for the 1.19.2 version?
I could see ways to improve it but it's still a good design, good job
for some reason the chest is not dividing the cobblestone into 2 belts and giving out only on one belt
same here
im sorry but ive started a new world and i dont have sooo much iron that i need for that
I feel like my water wheel generator is turning everything much more slowly in the video - have I done something wrong? Looking at the water wheels with goggles on, it says the kinetic stress capacity is 256su
And the drill kinetic stress impact is 32su
Just released I'm playing with Prominent Create, not Create. I'm assuming that's made a difference!
Ah and also there's been updates since this video I guess...
welp
this not gonna work for latesed versions sadlly cuz of the updated water wheels
Mine has an issue though, cobblestone comes out of only one of the funnels, so all the load is on just one of the millstones, which eventually clogged up. Does this have something to do with the recent changes?
Shouldn't do. have you checked one of the funnels isn't blocked with something random?
I fixed that problem with mine by putting a second stack of cobble in the first chest.
basically the cobble was being produced too slowly and it was only coming out of 1 funnel, by placing a second stack in the chest it started the second funnel going.
My gravel keeps disappearing off the belt half way thru the water?
its because there be a chance of iron nuggets and flint. Sometimes when you wash a grave you get nothing
idk why, i made step by step but just one belt is working
why are my water wheels not the same?
The game was recently updated which has changed their appearance. You can colour the new design to look like any of the wood types.
why, when i put the cogwheel into the millstone, all the mechanism, just stop? :(
had the same problem u need to a 4th water wheel
@@RedC0bra wdym, there's only 2. So i need 2 more? ._.
Don't forget the 3 stairs and 2 millstones guys
is the gravel meant to just dissapear
Yeah it does. There’s only a 12% chance it will become an iron nugget and 25% it will become flint. The rest of the time it just vanishes.
Jai du modifier les engrenage a la fin pcq mes fan aspirai lair au lieu de propulser leau mais bon tuto je vais tchecker tes autre tuto quand jaurai masse de fer
Where is schematic ?
my fan is taking air in not blowing water out?
Use a gearbox
on me says overstressed
skill issue
how does this generate iron nuggets?
It's not working!
It probably isn't working for you since the newer versions have 2 types of water weels instead of just 1. And you probably didn't have enough stress units
Great early game iron farm tutorial 😉👍
You're playing with the create 0.5? 'cause of the "old" waterwheels 😊
in 0.5.1 update, the waterwheels did had a change, thats why some people will have some rpm problems with this design 😉
I'm explaining the changes in my video here: czcams.com/video/8ov6daywaM8/video.html
hope you don't mind that i put the link into this comment 🙂
Yoo thank you I was wondering about this, mine was going so much slower than the video!
I watched your video and whilst it was interesting, as a complete Create beginner it unfortunately didn't help me at all 😅 sorry. I just don't understand how to fix this farm...
Who else had to watch in 2x speed...
You forgot like, half of the blocks and had to get them AFTER telling us what we needed, Bad tutorial overall
only 3 stairs and the 2 millstones
These things happen, it’s still a good tutorial
Just watch full tutorial and then start building. Then you don't have these problems.
what blocks did she forget bruh you’re quite the dramaqueen
you should always watch a video before trying it anyways do people not know this? thats the fastest way to not make mistakes 💀
that shit aint working bad tutorial
Hearing a woman say Shaft and cogwheel multiple times really made it hard for me to concentrade
This is a fantastic starter design. It isn’t perfect, but adapting to the flaws turned out to be fun. ^_^
One thing I ran into as a problem was cobble-to-grinder ratio. I was producing way more cobble than I was able to grind out. My solution was to divorce the drills from most of the apparatus (made it a little more complicated, buuuuut worth the effort), then added a comparator to the initial cobble chest and a Clutch to the drill apparatus. Then I ran redstone from the cobble comparator to the clutch.
TLDR, comparator made it so that if the cobble chest got too full, it would turn off the drills but not the belts.
Other fun thing is you can add a mechanical press+basin further down the line at reduced power to compact iron nuggets and them into ingots. I’d recommend using a brass funnel to sort out flints and to make sure 9 nuggets pop out at a time.
Thank you again for sharing this design. It has worked wonders for me. 🫡
