For those of you who want a download link for the Schematic you can find one here! (Doesn't have the creative motor & all the building blocks have been replaced with cobblestone)

Actually you dont need high sped for fans. They speed of washing is not affected by the rotation speed
I really like this design. Getting 4860 ingots/hour, replaced the normal chutes above the crushing wheels with smart chutes and set them to drop stacks of 64 only since crushing wheels take like 18 seconds to crush a stack and 11s to crush 32, 7s to crush 16 and so on. Also the comment saying you only need 5 crushing wheels is right. Very nice, appreciate the tutorial a lot and you explained it very well (saw the cobble gen in another video but struggled to follow the steps there).
How ? They cant join the normal chutes.
Nice. Like both designs. Gotta make some room for the Big Boy but excited to see how much I can get!
You are a awesome teacher ! You'r build look so aestethic, compact and easy to understand what do what ! Congrats.
Thank you very much for the kind words! I’m glad I was able to make it easy to understand. :)
That was an exceptionally good video.
I would love to see more of these kind of videos. Maybe add schematics for the Schem cannon to.
Also you can make a similar system but instead of using water you can use milk and milkshakes to create special cobble for grinding and washing into other stuff like gold red stone etc. I would love to see what you could build doing that :)
I'll make sure to take a look into other things like this, but thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. :)
I was trying to make an automated cobblestone farm so I just came to this video and listened to the first part. Thanks to you, I’m making 10k blocks of cobblestone every 30 minutes instead of an hour. Oh and also I made multiple of the iron farms and made a cargo train carrying it to another friend of mine for trading. I appreciate this video you have made. Thanks!
no problem! Glad it helped out :)
Btw 1st Iron farm requires Nether for quartz.
That is just for the filter tho.
Also setting an iron nugget as the filter is better to just get iron
hey this is satisfactory music!
Slightly inefficiënt use of the amount of crushing wheels, you could reach the same output with 5 sets of crushing wheels.
Considering crushing a stack of cobblestone takes 3.85 seconds and the farm outputs around 300k cobble an hour.
300000 / 3600 * 3.85 / 64 = 5.01.. stacks per 3.85 seconds. Considering the number of stacks is a tad higher then 5 you could add another crushing wheel to fully optimise it.
I don't know the exact output so if it were just below 300k an hour 5 sets of wheels would be fine and if just a bit higher you can add a 6th set.
If you adjust the farm and use less crushing wheels you could save around 12-16k SU, which makes the farm able to be powered easily with 1 small lava powered boiler (or atleast a smaller power source).
I see what you mean, but for that to work you'd have to use all smart chutes under the cobble generator rather than normal chutes, which i prefer to use as they are much cheaper.
@@jragon4176 I mean fair enough, personal prefrence :)
I like the satisfacory music in the background. Great video man!
Thank you!
For some reason the mechanical press is compacting the iron into trapdoors. I have both the fans and press on maximum speed and checked by cog stacking. It still presses into ironblocks but seems inefficient and i cant find a fix for it
Make sure you set a filter in the basin itself. If you dont then it'll make whatever recipe it can, which means it'll start making trap doors.
great video, do you know if this design works for create version 0.5.0? i'm playing atm7 and it's for version 1.18 so i don't have the latest version (with the big water wheel and elevator pulleys)
I imagine it’ll work the same way as long as you have all the same parts, like gantry’s, rotational speed controllers, etc.
If it doesn’t then let me know and I’ll attempt to make the same thing but for 1.18 and have a download link for the schematic.
@@jragon4176 alright man, thanks for the help, i'll try to build it in a couple days and reply later
also im interested, how do the gantrys go back and forth? for me if my gantry hits an end it just stays there till i change the rotation direction
Both gantrys are glued together, so they should move back and forth on their own as when one hits the end of its line, the other activates and pulls it back. You need to make sure that both the gantry lines are not connected in the middle, and are 2 separate lines. (Shown at 8:11)
Hello, i would like to build this farm in my minecraft world, how many Stress Unit do you think it needs, i already have a boiler setup that generates about 145k su, is it enough?
I think that should be enough, whenever I built it on survival I had 2 tier 4 boilers that powered it but that was probably overkill.
Hey, great video and explanation. Unfortunately i've got a problem, where after a few back and forths the cobblestone on the side with the 160rpm speed controller, generates faster than the gantry can destroy it, so the gentry gets stuck after around 3 seconds of producing. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, i would really appreciate it. Still great video :D Edit: i fixed it, i had the overlapping andesite funnels on the wrong side, my bad. Really nice video
Question is... what am i going to do with 4000+ Iron ingots????
Build a massive iron block beacon maybe?
trade the iron for emerald
Use it in other mods or just simply build even bigger farm 😅
if you install Refined storage extra disk you will sure find a use for these ingots
What do you mean ? How else would you make enough chest plates to melt into iron ingots to make lanterns?
I have a problem, my gantry shafts break becose of the water logged pipes. So i removed them and put planks there. But when I run it the gantry carriage that it at the end of the direction that it moves breaks. when I replace it it goes the other way and the second gantry carriage breaks. What should I do?
What version of minecraft are you on?
same here, 1.20.1@@jragon4176
@@jragon4176 same problem, version 1.18.2
it's about 2 months late, but i am wondering about how lag/fps efficient or inefficient this would be. I could likely make this farm far off and set up some chunkloaders, but i am worried my pc and server wont be able to handle this.
The lag only comes from the cobblestone farm as it’s generating and breaking a lot every second, so it wouldn’t be too server intensive I imagine, but being near it would cause lag. So you don’t have to build it super far out, but just out of the way enough so you can load it when you want to would work.
@@jragon4176 I'd assume just sticking it farther off and putting a chunk loader there would work too, no? And for powering this, how much SU is needed? I have a compact level 9 boiler I could use for this, but I'm wondering how much is required.
@@greenbeans12 That should be plenty, ive ran it with 2 level 4 boilers and had plenty as back-up, and i haven't tested it being chunk loaded but i imagine it works the same way.
my andesite funnels are not catching any of the cobble and it is spitting stacks of cobblestone everywhere how do i fix it.
Make sure that the arrows on them are pointing down towards the vault, You can change them with a wrench.
Nice design, though i wonder why did you use water streams instead of mechanical belts.
i thinks its more compact. imagine trying to fiddle with the shafts etc. cheaper too 👍
@@pxgenickbruch3232 honestly, i think that water streams will cause more lag than mechanical belts, and the thing with it being more compact? I don’t really think it is more compact given the fact that water needs support in order to not let the items fall.
very cool! but i have a genuine question, why do people need so much iron? is there practical use for this? ive been looking for iron farm ideas but on a smaller scale
Lots of items use iron, especially for farms because of hoppers. So making huge farms for iron is good for making other farms easier to build. Plus some mods could use more iron than normal for their things, just depends on what mods people are playing with.
Drills can be waterlogged but not milstone in 1.20.1
anyone having problems with it breaking the trap doors and funnels at the end when u turn it on????
my mechanical press keeps stopping its at max rpm i even tried adding a creative motor to the mechanic press but same problem occurs
It might be the basin being too full for anything to be crafted. So make sure you’re able to empty it out fast enough as well.
Modpack Suggestion Again: Parasitus
(I think you will really enjoy the tech in the modpack)
A parasite modpack, the way it puts mods together with the Scape And Run Parasite mod makes it for a unique and balanced, but still hard experience.
*Cough* *Cough* Tornados
I did take a look at that pack and it seems interesting but for some reason it does not like to run on my computer.
@4176 What kind of performence issues did you have?
Do you consider your pc bad, alright or good?
Thats kinda sad, sorry for the bad performance. Can you try checking if it runs better later? The modpack is about to update in a few hours
@@bruhframe5604 The main issues i had was a lot to do with freezes & frame drops somehow. I have a pretty decent computer, more higher end than probably most, But it still had issues running it.
@4176Oh, yeah the next update might fix that!
I found reports that Had Enough Items caused freezes, basically similar to the random dips of frame rates you experienced when playing, even when not exploring.
Had Enough Items tries to optimize memory, so I assume it had a memory leak causing these issues and replaced it with Just Enough items, the og mod
This theory is further supported by the fact that optifine players had the same issue, although they had to remove performence mods in the pack to play with Optifine meaning it was not a issue with a performence mod I installed
My testers so far havent experienced the issue so its a good sign but I still say maybe just incase it is not gone
Basically the new modpack update dropping in a few hours fixes that issue most likely
Although you did already try it, I guess it would be too late now to retry it in the future :(
@@bruhframe5604 I'm down to try it again since i barely played any of it, and i do like the idea, especially with the 7 days to die mod in there.
Hi, does the cobblestone generator still work for modern versions of create?
It should still work yes.
No it's been patched
I have a problem, I built the whole thing according to the video. When I activated the machine the cobblestone thing work but the cobblestone wont go inside the item vaults, so I dont know what to fix, can someone tell me? pls.
The cobblestone should be collected in the barrel on the gantry system, then dropped through the brass funnel into the andesite funnels connected to the vault, so its hard to pin point what’s wrong without being able to see what you’ve built, but definitely check on those things first.
@@jragon4176 the cobblestone does go into the barrel but not in the vault
@@jragon4176 Other problem is that the wheels that make the gravel and the mechanical press that makes the iron blocks, is that they only start to work when I turn off the cobblestone generator
for me the gantry shafts are getting flushed away by the water, what am i doing wrong?
Same and Im not sure how to fix it
What version of create are you on? That might have something to do with it, Cause this was recorded on minecraft version 1.20.1
i am doing it on 1.20.1 and my gantry always break from the water
@@jragon4176
@@jragon4176 it happends for me too even tho i have 1.20.1
for some reason my funnels arnt picking up any of the cobblestone and simple falling off the machine to the floor instead of gong into the item vault please help
Make sure the arrows on them are pointed down into the vault to pick the cobblestone up. If they are then it might be a problem with the gantrys and the bronze funnel below the barrel not facing the right way.
I made the cobble generator, but no cobble is generating. Did I maybe do something wrong? All pipes are down and everything is waterlogged
There's a few reasons why it might not work, and because i cant see how you built it I'm gonna throw out a few guesses and see if one is the problem.
Make sure that its mechanical pumps that are being used and not the normal pipes.
Make sure the gantry system is moving how its supposed to, and that its all glued together correctly (To the trap doors and funnels as well)
Make sure that the all of the funnels are facing the correct way (Shift clicking will make them face outwards which would pull items from the inventory their connected too)
i got up to 11:00 but the cobblestone is not going into the funnels and feeding the vault for some reason. any ideas?
its because my funnels were facing upwards... i didn't even know they could do that
may i ask how to power this on survival?
2 tier 4 boilers would work with plenty of SU as backup
Please help, when I turn the machine on, it works for 1 cycle but then one of the gantry shafts breaks :/
make sure the gantries are glued together and 1 block apart from eachother. Since they go back and forth by 1 of the gantries reaching the end of the rail. and stopping.
Name suggestion: the cheese grater
hit the nail on the head with that name. Lmao. Definitely gonna start calling it that.
Why useing water for item movement vs a vault or belts?
The fans wash items if they're just on the ground way faster than if it were on belts, and using vaults would be a bit complicated with how close everything is together. So it is easier to use water for funneling the gravel into 1 spot.
I built this device, but I wanted to make it 8000/h, so I extended the device horizontally. However, I cannot get the round stone out of the back of the Item Vault. Why is this?
The farm already uses a max sized vault, so if you’ve extended the vault at all then it would count as a separate vault entirely.
Yes, I know that. So I installed the same funnel in the other item storage room, but it did not change. May I send you a video later?@@jragon4176
@@osabune5127 Yeah that would help me understand more what the problem might be
I was able to solve this problem by funneling between the two item vaults. Thanks for your support!@@jragon4176
i used the schematic but its only making about 50 blocks an hour. Any tips?
Make sure that the rotational speed controllers are set correctly, and that the funnels on the side of the vault are the correct way around (The arrow pointing inwards towards the vault), those 2 things can make it not work in the slightest.
also make sure your press is at max speed as that can bottleneck the compression of the iron nuggets
@@jragon4176
With correct speed do you mean all the max? Or is there something else?
@@dfichas4545 I mean max RPM, if the press is too slow the iron nuggets would back up very quickly.
Anyone has the problem of why the cobble is going out of the structure? All the time y set on the farm ends with an arc of stacks and stacks of cobble, any know the solution? Please
It could be that the funnels ontop of the vault are facing the wrong way. You’d want to make sure the arrow on them is facing downwards towards the vault.
@@jragon4176Sorry, i don't understand all, im mexican and i use the english taught in the school and pokemon XD, but i check that :D
. I tried it several times, I redid it quite a few times but the problem simply persists.... During those retries I have been changing some things and it turns out that the problem is the barrel between the cranes, the barrel fills up in all its slots and starts to The cobblestone came out, I changed it for a storage drawer and even for an item vault, the storage drawer does not accept it and the item vault also fills up
@@omaroctaviosalvadorvalenzu48 The barrel in the middle shouldn't be filling up at all. So that means the brass funnel below the barrel is facing the wrong way, as the cobblestone is supposed to come out of the barren from that funnel.
@@jragon4176 okay, im gonna check that
I can’t Waterlog leaves for whatever reason, what would be a replacement?
You could just put water down as long as its contained in the one block. I just use leaves since its easier.
@@jragon4176 I’ve got a system which sort of works, I tried doing it like that but all the items wouldn’t stay in the middle so I put slabs and needed a stone trapdoor on the chute because the middle was an infinite source
@@jragon4176 quite a lot is going on top of the slabs though

I did it in my minecraft server and It worked but when the barrel got full it started to drop all the cobblestone I don't understand why the barrel doesn't drop the cobblestone that enters the barrel? could you help me pls?
the brass funnel under it might be facing the wrong way, since that is what drops the cobblestone out of the barrel into the andesite funnels connected to the vault
Make sure that the arrow on the brass funnel is facing outwards away from the vault.
@@jragon4176 yes thanks for responding fast but no its facing outwards and it still doesn't take it out of the barrel I tried making it both ways but it didn't worked

the water breaks the gantry shafts??
whatever version im on has a bug where horizontal gantry shafts are broken by water, not really sure how to get aroudn this lol
how did you get the gantry shaft to not break?
same issue..??
I think you have to be careful to make sure the gantry shafts are opposing.
how do u see what is inside the item vault ?
If you have the goggles on you can see.
Creative mode allows you to see what’s in it already but yeah the goggles do the same but for survival.
How much lag does the farm create?
While not speaking from experience with this exact farm, I imagine it is comparable to many vanilla item farms. If you want to cut down on the lag I strongly recommend replacing any areas with floating items (like when they're getting washed by the fans or falling through the crushing wheels) with conveyor belts as those are technically inventories and greatly reduce lag
I havent used it a ton but it does create a little bit of lag while the cobble generator is on, if you have cobblestone already in the vault and are just running the gravel washing stuff then its not bad at all.
the lag comes from the amount of cobble being generated and broken at the same time.
I did this in survival, lets go.

Well, how am I going to have brass funnel in early game? Requiring nether item is definitely not early game enough. Also the ratio of the early game design is completely messed up.
Getting to the nether isn’t that hard? And I mainly meant early into create. Brass is super easy to get atleast a few ingots pretty quickly.
my gantry shafts were breaking when i was water logging it, I am on version 1.20.1 also.
version?
This was made in the 1.20.1 version of create but i imagine it will work with earlier versions as well.
