A ppp loan would be useful in keeping employees employed, obviously if used right. This attitude of "helping the rich" is lazy. Everyone wants to hate people with money because they bought into the employee way of life and now it's too late (or is it).

No that’s false. The odds it was used correctly are actually in fact quite high. I received a PPP loan for $600 as a driving instructor. The entire driving school did as we’re independent contractors.
The forget the main indicators in applying but I only made $30k that year and got $600 but the stipulation was 60% had to be used for payroll and you needed to purchase equipment, IF you purchased equipment, in America.
So you could pay 100% yourself. As I’m my only employee. Geoff is his only employee or one of. Then spend the money accordingly as you see fit.

Always has been, always will. I especially dislike the snakes, like the old “Mr. Mint”, who essentially fuck people out of their vintage sportscards giving them pennies on the dollar. Making a reasonable profit is one thing, fucking old people is another.
Lol, his company took like 800k less than mine did for PPP loans. We have 400 employees and several locations, had to shut down inpatient units, and still had to get sold. Geoff is a fraud. Lock him up!

Yes psa will grade cut cards and fake cards psa 10 if they get a cut it’s all connected. Meanwhile the common not sensible small time person gets psa 9’s, 8’s and 7’s for perfect cards. It’s a clown show and your definitely invited.

I think a better story is how unregulated the card grading market is. That to me is the biggest scam in the industry. I love it when I here people crack open an 8 submit it again and get a 9. That is the story I want to hear about. Go after PSA or SGC. That is the part of the hobby that needs to most policing.

It's a subjective process, you can probably expect some variation like that. But there are thousands of cards in slabs that are loose inside the slab and if we know they're trimmed but PSA didn't then what exactly are they there for?
who would regulate card grading market? how would you go about that? Universal standard? training certs to be able to grade? Universal costs? should govt just run it through contracts? That would be very costly to regulate vs importance to governments missions. Any independent non-government non-profit org would need money to run... maybe Fanatics can set something up for their own cards, but why would they care about other manufacturer's cards?

I work at a CPA firm... I hate to say it, but I'd say 90% of Business that received ppp funds didn't need it. It all went to the distribution accounts. I don't support Geoff, but what he got was a drop in the bucket compared to other private companies.
100% correct. The majority of the loans ended up in business owner's pockets. Also, don't forget those with "deep pockets" were supposed to be not eligible for these loans. According to Geoff's own claims his business made him millions. I would categorize millions as deep pockets.
if ur biz was shutdown u got money. schools got like 1.5m per school. i know smoke shops and other businesses who got well over 20,000 each. it was meant to stimulate the economy. just like cash for clunkers in 2009

If the sports card company was doing great and 352 was doing all the work for them if they were getting paid to do the work then both would have been fine? So he proves he took the money for 1 company to pay the other company to do free work for the other company. And if the company was doing so horrible like he said how did he all of a sudden buy over 2 million in cards when a year b4 that we have never heard of him or ever seen him with cards
Money is easy to move around. Most of the PPP loans ended up in the pockets of business owners.

E-commerce businesses across the board grew exponentially during the pandemic. A business like 352 would have likely seen unprecedented growth as the type of services they provide were in high demand. 1+1 does not equal 3.

I've heard of companies opening new companies to pay their employees under to get these loans. They just changed their payrolls to pay their employees under new name and since their old company wasn't paying them they showed it as a loss.

From the time he came onto the scene Geoff Wilson always seemed and came across to me as a shady Con artist here's an example of what I mean. He used to do, and I think he still does do this pod type cast called the top 5 sports cards you should be looking out for. Otherwise, what he's really doing is pushing cards he bought low and now wants to sell high by convincing his followers and other collectors that these particular cards he's pushing are really the hot cards everyone is buying. Fact is he and maybe a small handful of other investors have bought these cards cheap and now needs to unload them or flip them for a much higher price to that of which they actually paid hence creating this fake top 5 must have cards in your collection pod cast. Each week his top 5 list changes, sorry to inform everyone but cards fluctuate pretty much on a daily basis depending on how a particular player is doing, depending on if that player's sport is happening or in its off season, injuries and other factors come into the equation as well. Just because you bought a 2023 Topps Chrome Update Joe Smuckatelly RC SSP Red Snakeskin Speckle card numbered to 50 doesn't mean everyone is buying it or trying to collect it so don't go trying to tell everyone we are LOL.
Sports card collecting as a hobby I think is fine and doing good we just have to keep our eyes out for all these fake cards that are being produced out there and for con artists like Geoff Wilson. Sports card investing is a very corrupt full of rich people who didn't know what they were doing and or buying trying to somehow turn their bad investments into huge profits. Sports cards I don't think were ever meant to be an investment but more of a hobby and something to just collect. But for those who do get lucky enough to land those cards that do demand these high-end prices well good for y'all for being and getting so lucky as for me I'm still trying to find my lucky card but am and will continue to collect for the joy of collecting, trading and yes selling a few cards here and there. It is a shame that our hobby has come to this but in today's society and world is it really a surprise that it has?

Could have been that their clients were also getting crusted so they stopped hiring them to work on things. I know the radio industry kept producing daily shows and playing music but they took a huge hit because a lot of advertisers got crushed during the pandemic.

Nothing you say here is true. Here are the facts:
- When I first started Sports Card Investor in 2019, I used some Three Five Two employees to help get it started, as I had not yet hired my own team for Sports Card Investor. This was before the pandemic / PPP loan.
- I started hiring my own team for Sports Card Investor around the time Market Movers launched in February 2020, again before the pandemic / PPP loan. I then phased out using Three Five Two’s team.
- Three Five Two and Sports Card Investor are separate companies with separate ownership and separate employees. In the cases where Three Five Two employees worked on Sports Card Investor, Sports Card Investor paid Three Five Two just like any other client pays Three Five Two.
- Your accusations that PPP funds were used fraudulently or for cards or for Sports Card Investor’s business are completely false.
Just shut up already dude, people were legitimately struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic and it caused a lot of devastation for people. The last thing we need is people taking out 2 million in loans to go on lavish vacations

You know what? I have a new keyboard and I 'm not afraid to use it. Geoff Wilson does not make my choices for me. I do. Did he tell me to collect Happy Days cards? Did he show me Gordon Ramsey's RC? Did he tell me to collect 2022 Opening day or Doctor Who? NO, I did. I don't even know what Market Movers is or how to flip a card for a 1k+ loss. That's my stratergey and I'm sticking to it. I took care of ill family members during the pandemic and tried finding retail, NOT Spending 2.5 dollars on FLEER!

A LOT of people took advantage of these loans. I don't agree with it, but people own separate businesses all the time that can support each other in ways for tax advantages. Like a plumbing business owner who just so happens to own a truck leasing business that just so happens to lease all their trucks to the plumbing business.
