I'm excited for you guys to watch the show. If you're sad about catching up with It's Always Sunny, this is a good choice. Every character is great. It has that in common with Sunny.

I even named my cat Viago and my dog Laszlo(Matt Berry's character in the tv show). The cool thing about both the movie and show is that they make SO many references to other vampire-related media. Viago is based on the vampires in Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles series (most famously "Interview with the Vampire"), Deacon is based on the 80's movie "The Lost Boys", Vladislav is based on Vlad the Impaler and Dracula from the "Bram Stoker's Dracula" movie, and Petyr is based on Nosferatu. That's why they all have such different ways of dressing, acting, sleeping, etc.
Anyone else watch this after Thor: Ragnarok when Korg played by Taiki Waiti talked about a wooden fork weapon. Which would only be useful fighting against three vampires huddled together
I LOVE Norma Tanega. That song is from an album called "Walkin' my Cat Named Dog." She's a snarky muthafrogger. "You're dead and outta' this world." Love it. Also hats off to a comedian from New Zealand for using a song by a fillipino-american from California! At least Taika Waititi knows we're not all butthats. As long as he knows it I'm satisfied. We might be an imperialist evil empire, but most of us are just regular people like Norma Tanega. Snarky muthafroggers. No more and no less.
another fun vampire movie is Dracula Dead and Lovin It, a Dracula parody! it got mixed reception when it came out and some people find it funny and some people don't so it could go either way if you watched it but i loved it growing up
Our Flag Means Death both has Taika and Rhys, and is an absolutely amazing show. Definitely worth adding to the list!
