- Following on from my numeracy practice test walkthrough, I had some requests to do the same thing for literacy. So here it is! If you are struggling with a particular question, you can use the chapters to jump around the video, otherwise you can just have it playing in the background for study solidarity. Good luck to everyone preparing for the test!

For question 10, there is a whole separate column that basically gives you the answer... well done on figuring it out without using the final column!
OMG you are totally right! There I go again, making things harder than they have to be 😅😅😅 ... Nice pick up!
Thank you so much for these videos! So helpful. Passed my Lantite Numeracy and Literacy first time.
🥳🥳 Congrats!!
Thank you, I was also confused about q2, I liked your explanation. This was really helpful, I have my Lantite literacy test tomorrow 😊
Best of luck!!! 🍀 🍀
Thank you very much for the walkthrough. I love your explanation. Could you please do that other LANTITE test also. It would be better for who struggle to understand what questions really want.
Thanks, great to hear this helped! When you say the other LANTITE test, do you mean the numeracy one? I'm guessing you've already found my other video for that one? czcams.com/video/6701HCC9Xk8/video.html
thank you!!! I failed twice and had my final chance to do it and I stumbled on this video helped a lot!!! and I passed :)
Amazing! Congratulations! ✅💥
With the semi colon, I believe the reason is because a semi colon is used to separate two independent clauses of similar thought; semi colons fill the role of a conjunction. A comma is used to indicate a pause (in this instance).
Thanks Jake!
Thank you very much for the walkthrough! It was really helpful during my preparation!
Awesome, great to hear! Best of luck for the test!! ✅💥
@@TickBoom I passed the November round! Yeah ! ! ! Thank you again
@@user-rw6lp3vj5v Woohoo so great to hear! Congratulations and well done!!! 🥳🥳🥳 ✅💥
Was it similar questions?
Because I will be doing the test February and am worried 😟
Thank you so much! so helpful
Great to hear Setrida! All the best for the test! ✅💥
awesome video thanks for the help! especially enjoyed the comments for each advertisement 🤣
Hahahaha I'm glad to see someone enjoyed those little touches 😎
Thanks for your help
Hey mate thanks for the vid, r there any other resources you would consider when studying?
Hi Harry, as I didn't end up using any other resources, I can't really say with any authority what is good or bad. Although I have noticed there's plenty of Facebook groups focused on the LANTITE, and if you join those groups you'll probably find heaps of people with first hand experience who could tell you what they found useful ✅💥
Hey mate, just had the test, dunno if I passed but thanks for the help
Fingers crossed Callum!!! 🤞🤞🤞
How many questions are you allowed to get wrong on the test?
Hi Lisha, thanks for your question!
I think technically the exact number of questions that you could get wrong (and still meet the requirements) depends on the exact test you take (and the rest of the cohort who takes that exact test). I'm not an expert on the mechanics of what happens, but I would expect some element of statistical normalisation is undertaken to account for the fact that not everyone takes exactly the same test. Once that normalisation has occurred, they then work out whether your performance is above the cut-off of what the top 30% of adults would achieve on an equivalent test.
With all that said, as a broad rule of thumb, I would say that if you got above 60/65, then you're certain to have met the standard. If you got above 50, I'd say you could be quite confident to have met the standard. Once you are below 50, then I think it becomes harder to say what your outcome will be ...
YNWA :D
thank you for this , if only you could read loud in the test
Thanks Monty! All the best for it! ✅💥
I completely agree. The process of talking out loud (rather than in your head) to work through each question, seems to aid problem solving... Completing more practice tests would be the only way to gain confidence I guess.
Thanks, it was helpful... although I am concerned that your previous teachers taught you that students's is correct... it never has been! Just because something is prevalent in our society - it does not mean it is correct. For example, "I bought this with me" - should be "brought". "CD's for sale" ought to be CDs...
Glad it helped! Yes I am of the generation that was taught when explicit teaching of grammar was abandoned, so who knows how many dubious misconceptions I suffer from 🧐
Fuck these bullshit tests
