I actually found the Venn diagram question quite simple. The way I see it is there are 2 missing numbers in the Venn diagram. The number of people who watch The Bachelor and Survivor and the number of people who watch My Kitchen Rules and Survivor.
Since 160 people watch The Bachelor, My Kitchen Rules and Survivor. I figured out 33 people must watch The Bachelor and Survivor, as 75 + 42 + 10 + 33 = 160. I then added all the numbers from the Venn diagram together getting 262. There are 330 participants in the study meaning 330 - 262 = 68. Hence, 68 people must watch My Kitchen Rules and Survivor, as that is the only space in the Venn diagram that had not been figured out.

Hi Andrew, yes your approach makes perfect sense! Thank you for sharing this!!!
We have to know that the diagram has been drawn such that the 75 does not include the 42, and the 42 does not include the 10 (which is where I think I was twisting myself around in knots), but yes once that is clear I think the way you've done it is certainly very easy to follow. Having now refreshed myself on the way Venn diagrams work (through teaching it to my Year 10 students), it is unequivocally clear I was very rusty on Venn diagrams when I made this video 😅

Hey there, for question 15, you counted 20 twice. That is how you got 13 instead of 12.

Thank you Tick Boom for this wonderful insight. Some questions became easy for me, yet I can see where I need loads of practice, and then some! You are so kind and I'll look at more of your CZcamss. With the boxes, I just converted the kg to grams, 3.6 to 3600 then 3600/450 gave me the answer, 8

Have you done a video on the first Acer Numeracy Practice Test of the 8 questions? I can’t find the answers to it.

Hey Sienna, I did a walkthrough of the Acer Numeracy Practice Test that was on their website last year (link here: czcams.com/video/6701HCC9Xk8/video.html) ... Is that the one you mean? I'm not sure if they've since made more tests available ... ?

@@TickBoom No that’s not the correct CZcams. If you log into the Acer account and then click on practice materials it’s the second one that says numeracy Sample questions. When you click start test the first section only has four questions the second part of that test has eight questions the first question of the second part is what percentage of the total operating expenditure on education in to 11 to 12 hours spent on the remaining aspects of the education budget and it’s a computer calculator section. The next section has only two questions in it and question one is what is the weight of 100 such boxes and question two is a geographical distribution of Australians. And that’s what is in that Sample questions. I’ve done it online however I can’t find anywhere to check my answers.

    given that 𝑧5−1=(𝑧−1)(𝑧2+𝑎𝑧+1)(𝑧2+𝑏𝑧+1)
    .
Hint: Use cos(2𝜋5)=14(5‾√−1) and the polar form of the fifth roots of unity (from VCE cambridge specialist maths textbook:) ) Thank you!!!!! You're awesome!!1
