Yeah, mark sits quite far away from the mic too. Just raise the channel
Mark is sitting further away from the mic and is also speaking much softer than Ben

When Ben and Tubes (or whoever is on the couch with Mark) are speaking, whether to each other or to Mark, the are facing the same direction towards their mics. But Mark is constantly turning his head to include Tubes in the conversation. Is that part of the audio problem? Maybe Mark needs a clip-on mic.

American football has done something similar to this. ESPN has what is called the Manning cast (2 multi-Super Bowl champion QBs that are brothers). They essentially just interview famous fans of the teams playing or players of other teams and also give their own insights on the plays. It’s very professionally unprofessional if that makes sense. They just joke around and talk like any other fan and give lots of banter and cool insights to the game.
A lot of famous fans have opinions that actual fans don't have though, take some of that aftv lot

Ben, I did not realise that on spotify the video is actually there too! I think it might be worth reminding people of that too, because i've been kinda avoiding checking out spotify over your channel here because I just assumed on spotify it'll be audio only
also it would be massively helpful to have someone touch up the audio because the levels are kinda all over the place, one of you talks really quietly while someone else is loud etc
It's obvious why. We live in a society where you can't criticize an athlete when they underperform! This was evident with Ronaldo and Neville at the weekend. Neville was well within his right to criticize him, yet Neville was publicly humiliated for expressing his view live on live T.V. - he's a pundit, for god's sake, he's supposed to share his view! Goldbridge hasn't been a fan of 'McFred' for the last couple of seasons, and rightfully criticized them!
In any other profession, if you do something wrong (underperform), you're criticized, but for some unknown reason, footballers (athletes) seem to believe they're above criticism!
There's criticism and there's ridiculing them even when they play good.. Can only imagine how much it effects both of them when one of them actually plays good but Goldbridge and his minions just say "McFred bad haha"

It's not the mics. Those are Shure SM7Bs, really high quality industry microphones. It's just the mixing of the audio/levels are all set weirdly.
Expanding on watching studio or creator. Broadcasters could do a manning cast like thing which is done in nfl where two ex pros or creators watch the match live whilst interacting with fans with the game showing

It’s only a matter of time before the main stream will start accepting CZcams more and more. These CZcamsrs are infinitely bigger than ‘TV personalities’.
The only problem is that they will still try to control the show and do it their way and won’t give the CZcamsrs the freedom they have on their channels. We already see it on sky when they do the combined 11 for big games. They try rush the answers, don’t let them debate much and have a time limit for how long it runs. It’ll never work properly going into mainstream unless they were given a lot of control to do it their way which what makes fan content the best, freedom from producers and people above them telling them what to do.
Sure - I would watch something like that for updates but only if it was StuntPegg or someone & not Theo
People dont realise this that sports media has always been shackle by higher ups propaganda.. especially with ex players involved its always been that way.. The networks dont want to get bitten by the clubs that feeds them information or exclusive interview or etc contents.. hence why you see a lot BS spilled across pundit ex pro players, because they are told not antagonist the clubs or players..
