MANY THANKS TO @jackvaughan935 for the music 🎵!!!!
I remember eating sugar soldiers as a kid. White bread spread with butter and sprinkled with sugar and cut in soldiers. Back then it tasted really good but have not had it since. You brought back lots of memories!
Mary from New York State
Aaw Mary , I remember soldiers as a kid , used to have with boiled eggs ! Haven’t had boiled eggs for absolutely ages , that’s what I might have for lunch today ! Will have to hunt for the egg cups Xxx
Loving that intro video!! Was good fun to come up with the music 😊
My Mum is interested to check out your channel so you might get another fan!
Also, white bread is the best, no contest
@@jackvaughan935 Aaw thanks Jack and thank you so much for the music ! Look forward to looking out for your Mum.
Totally agree about white bread , they put a lot of things into brown bread to make that cardboardy taste X
Hi Rach, love the intro well done Jack, yes l loved sugar sandwiches as a kid, another was condensed milk spread on bread.Still love condensed milk, but rarely have it now.I like the snood l bought one last year but its furry knitted.Lovely and warm l wore mine around the house.Have a lovely holiday l hope the weather improves for you, its awful here .ike winter really stormy and cold.Safe travels Rach see you when you are back xx
@@sheilacarter7875 Aaw thanks so much Sheila . I keep checking the weather in case it changes but it’s not looking too clever , so am packing woolies and shorts ! Haha and I was worrying that it might be too hot for Wilson . I wore my snood in the house last year and fingerless gloves Xxxx
Liking the intro - a jolly titfer would enhance the look ! Well done for promoting small businesses,it all helps.
Wonder how much prep Pete does for his hols ?!? Have a good time.Don't forget a brolly !
@@susanhogarth5507 Thanks Susan , good idea about a hat , I like it !!!! Pete does sweet fa apart from shaving his head and demanding we find a good place to watch the football , England kick off at 5 and we don’t check in until 4 ! I will be busy unpacking ! He does do his own packing , but it’s me who will unpack it and he never takes enough pants 🩲! Glad you said about the brolly , also remembered the scrabble this year X
@@rusticramble I didn't mean to start you on a rant ! Take it out on the Scrabble board, buy a Toblerone for yourself and support Switzerland !!! Have fun.x
@@susanhogarth5507 Great plan ! X
My brother used to eat sugar sandwiches - never liked them myself. We only ever had white bread in our house. I think it was called Sunblest and came wrapped in waxy paper. I enjoyed hearing about your haul Rachel and you got some good stuff. I have never met a well-behaved goose - ones I have met have chased and pecked at me. Is that a Cornish ware TG Green mug - I am hoping to get a collection of those at some point. The new music suits your channel imo. Hope you have a lovely holiday - always loved caravanning and did a lot of it in childhood. Was also much inspired by Enid Blyton's 'Five go off in a Caravan' 😃.
I remember Sunblest and its packaging ! My mug is Cornishware , my one is personalised and says Cornwall and my husband has one with Chairman on it ! I have quite a lot of the blue and white , but I want the mugs in different colours.
My sister has a collection of the mugs . Can’t wait now for my holiday , need my Cornwall fix at least once a year . Funny enough I saw a quote yesterday from Enid Blyton and it was from Five go off in a caravan, loved her books as a kid . Named my first cat after their dog Timmy X
@@rusticramble 😃Chairman ! Whilst the blue remains my favourite, the Cornishware in all the colours are indeed delightful. Alas my purchasing will have to wait until I next visit those shores as they are far too expensive where I live now - that said I still look longingly at eBay !! I wonder if you are taking your doggie on holiday - I used to take my childhood border collie cross caravanning - his name was, of course, Timmy (Famous Five fan). We went everywhere together In those halcyon days - dogs were permitted in caravan parks then, but possibly not now.
@@Kay-ph1kb How lovely that you had a collie called Timmy ! I buy most of my Cornishware online from the cornishware .co.uk web site and get from their seconds sales , my latest purchase is a butter dish and it looks perfect really but still expensive! My sister at one time had all the blue and white but sold it on eBay ! We are staying on a camp site that has some dog friendly caravans and a short walk away from a dog friendly beach ! Wilson loves the sea ! He also is a lover of Cornishware , he has a Cornishware dog bowl with his name on it X
@@rusticramble yes indeed, my Timmy was adorable - but extremely naughty - like Wilson he pulled on the lead, chased cats and absolutely loved the sea. Thank you for the tip re the website - I shall certainly be paying it a visit. The very idea of Wilson having a personalised Cornishware dog bowl is bliss. Have a very happy holiday with lashings of ginger beer ... or maybe something stronger !
@@Kay-ph1kb thank you so much Kay Xxxx
I wash the car and shave my head
@@chairman9327 Now had you replied to Susan this comment would make more sense rather than look like a really odd comment!
