I remember Steve first time in downtown Sao Paulo almost thinking 'what a bad idea was to come to this country', and now he is asking for peixe frito in fluent Portuguese wearing a Bahia jersey while the average Brazilian Volkswagen is parked outside. What a plot twist.
It's been an amazing journey and we are honored with all the kindness and attention you've been giving to our underrated country. Thank you, but always keep aware with your safety. 👍 Cheers!
Estou impressionado com o português do Steve. Muito bom!
Pensei o mesmo!
five stars
Just to be clear: 6 stars!
good one haha
Besides, we don't use "muito bom" that much at least not in every possible context.
@@danilocarlos5587 Chatão véi kkkkk
These drone shots are amazing!
We got some even better ones coming!! Stay tuned 👍👍
Vocês estão falando português muito bem! Chocada hahah
I love how y'all prefer to eat local food instead of eating macdonalds like everyone else.
Steve, your Portuguese is getting amazing! Keep Working on it!
Woohooo. Road trip, here we go!! Absolutely love driving along with you both. Drone shots, villages are 10 stars. Keep safe, healthy and happy.
Hey Jetlag, there are national parks in Tocantins State that is a must for you to visit!!
It is called "Jalapão" and "Serras Gerais" If you could do this trip to this place please do it ! It is a top 5 places in Brazil
All the best
It's true, come to Tocantins state, you'll appreciate. I'll receive you here in Palmas, the capital. See you.

Jalapão ! Jalapão ! Please research in CZcams about it and just Go! But rent a 4x4 car.

7:56 Yes, this time you are right. This is BA 099 called here "Linha verde" (green line). It is a piece of the atlantic forest on the coast of Bahia. In Sergipe you arrived before painting the lines. The track was probably just resurfaced.
I love how your vibes are so Brazilian now you can´t go back
O Steve falando com sotaque carioca me ganha toda vez. Parabéns!
Ahahahah this is so epic! You guys are hitting a whole new Brazil's gringo vlog. Brazil is great for "car rental vlogs"!
OMG! You were so near to my home!! I traveled thousands of times in this avenue!!!🤗🤗🤗
You should visit Mangue Seco, which is the last beach in Bahia (before Sergipe)...it is an amazing place!!
Cês já conseguem se virar mt bem, ISSO É A VERDADEIRA EXPERIÊNCIA NO BRASIL!
You guys are inspiring me to rent a car when I go to Floripa. I have been really apprehensive about driving in Brazil but it probably isn't any worse than driving at home. By the way, a lot of people are commenting on how good your Portuguese is getting and I totally agree. You sounded really good ordering the food at the restaurant. Parabens!
roads are tighter than in the US (If that's where you're from), but they're wider than most of Europe roads (like UK and its super narrow roads).
But most people in Brazil drive Compact SUVs, small sedans or hatchbacks, opposed to giant ass SUVs and Trucks in the US.
Only thing, be extra cautious with blind spots and switching lanes, as lane splitting in Brazil is legal and very common.
VOCÊS SÃO DEMAIS! Adoro seus videos.
MUITO BOM!! *ps: congrats on your portuguese skills improvement
Second gringo couple doing a roadtrip in northeast Brazil the other was Travelbum.
And Travelbum broke up after Brazil's trip lol
Sabbatical did it as well.
@@nereud.1027 Jura???

Welcome Steve and Ivana to Sergipe. The road with impeccable asphalt is called the green line. It is a safer route towards Bahia.
Wow, a road trip? I love that kind of content. There a several great beaches up North in Alagoas, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará (the places I know at least).
I m addicted in these videos! Knowing my country though foreing eyes is been an amazing experience. Long life for the channel!
You made me remember my childhood family journeys (3 days long). We used to take this road several times when we wanted to travel to Recife from Rio. Good old times.... Enjoy it, people!
PS. Roads are brand new today, compared to the scorched earth it was back in 90's!! Lol
My hometown is Aracaju!!! I am living in Toronto now, so happy you made it to my state of Sergipe! Love your videos!
I can't believe you guys are in Sergipe and Aracaju! I am Australian but my family is mostly from Aracaju! It's a great place
what a good energy this trip was ❤️
Hi! I hear you talking about you nerd to move the country every 3 months , because the viewers. But in my opinion we follow you because we like you. It doesn't matter where you are. Of course I watch more when you are in Brazil, feel closer to you two. Love
Thank you
Hey guys, if you guys plan to travel on many roads I suggest you get the “Sem Parar”. Its a sticker that allows you to not get in toll lines. You pay the total amount using credit card. 😊
I'm so so, oh, so glad you guys are having such a great time around the Northeast of my beautiful country! I just love the way you value minimal details and how kind and open minded, relaxed and funny you are! That's the secret, I guess, to attract the best from everywhere! Can't wait to see you back in Salvador! I have spoken with Vanessa and gave her great tips to enjoy around here! It's time to know Salvador's night life, my friends! Lots of kisses and hugs!🤩
These drone shots are so awesome guys, you should do some more on the videos and it really gives that cool look from the sky. Go to Fortaleza, see ya my friends keep the good vids !
Everything will be alright with your visas!! Wishing absolutely all the best luck, you're awesome!
Olá, bom diaaaa ❤❤❤ Sou soteropolitana, torcedora do time do Bahia e amei ver você usando nosso manto sagrado 😍😍😍
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Back on d road trip adventure again.
Oh my god, I'm totally impressed with how fast you guys are learning Portuguese! Damn! Congrats on that 👏👏👏
12:18 "qualquer coisa no final a gente acerta" it means that in the end she will negotiate the price with you, it's a typical phrase in the northeast.
I'm excited for you guys! I look forward to new adventures.
Muito bom
Steve is already 120% Brazilian... he should get Brazilian citizenship, heheheh. Love you guys ! You bring a great image of Brazil to the gringos ! Thks !
Great camera work... beautiful scenery.....drive safe..enjoy!
Great video as always, I didn't think I would like this type of video that much, thanks and have a safe journey!
Wow! Soon you're will be speaking portuguese fluently. Congrats Steve and Ivana!
You are understanding Portuguese very well! Even more so in the northeast where people tend to speak faster. It's great to see you getting to know the northeast. Many tourists focus on the south and southeast region and end up missing the magnificent beaches and northeastern nature!
I watched 14:46 minutes of video smiling. You guys have an awesome vibe.
Can't wait for more of those road trip videos. Muito bom!
So many good memories from this road... Love this area. The Northern shore of Bahia is one of my favorite places in Brazil.
"Muito bom" ,foi a maneira de viajar o Brasil sem falar o português,serve praticamente para tudo...😂
I love see your videos here in Brazil!🇧🇷❤
I cannot believe you arrived In Aracaju right after I left and came back to São Paulo! What a bummer...
Good luck with your visa guys! Love to carry on following your journey! 👏😊
That’s more like it. Looking forward to more of the road trip. Stay alert, Stay safe.
Hey! Nice to see you guys on a road trip, showing the roads and the drone shots ! very nice new concept for your vlogs, and it's going to be for a month? very nice! can't wait to see the next ones! Cheers from New Jersey!
What a lovely couple! Hope you guys have a great time 💜
Congratulations for you guys to improve your Portuguese and to show us the Brazil witch most part of us don't know.
its nice to see how you guys are enjoing brazil
Vocês são os melhores 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Essa região é maravilhosa,
Muito bom como sempre!
Amo seus vídeos! Estou conhecendo o Brasil com vcs.
Campum is possible a borrowed word from Spanish or Portuguese, “Campo” in both languages means field.
In Portuguese and Spanish you can call village/small town in this way.
Hey guys! Please come to our underrated South of Brazil next time. Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Blumenau! ❤
Very nice trip guys. Enjoy it.
Love you guys!
God bless you.
Eu amei esse vídeo!!
I was born and raised in são paulo state but my parents are from sergipe (a very small town called poço verde)
1 time a year we go to sergipe to visit family. I am already missing aracaju so much ❤❤
Please, when you guys go to north don't forget to visit cânions do rio são francisco (são francisco river canyons, I guess?? LOL).
It's on the border between sergipe and alagoas state. It's a amazing place.
It got to a point that Steve ordering food just sounds like Portuguese from Portugal in a way, hahaha
I would like to say that I study english with your channel, because I like the content and it’s easy to understand. Btw, I’m brazilian.
It would be nice if Brazil could add road signs in English. Since most states depend on tourism.
brazil is amazing! an you are great....I love brazil trought your videos..
Wonderful drive you had there. Love to explore cities and green surrounding. Renting a car is always good to really know a country and its people.
I also like to visit next door Argentina.
Haven't gone to South America before. Hopefully next year or this year.
I suppose things are not expensive there comparing to US and EU.
Cheers from California!
Take a care drive in road Brazil .🙏🇧🇷
"the road trip can be a month long" then please do the ROTA DAS EMOÇÕES, starting in Jericoacoara (Ceará), then driving to Barra Grande and Delta do Parnaíba (Piauí) and ending in the Lençóis Maranhenses (Maranhão) state. Its a wonderful trip with lots of exciting places to visit!
I strongly recommend you to visit Rio Grande do Norte state, the dunes in Natal, and also Pipa's city. I went to the northeast region last year and Rio Grande do Norte was the state that I mostly liked
Incrível, muito bom!!
Cool takes, as usual !
always love your roadtrip vlog , kinda dont wanna this video to end haha,, stay safe mi amiga and amigo ! godspeed .
Thank you! There are more coming! 😁
Awesome vid guys 👊🏻
great vacations. Cheeers
I am so happy you guys r enjoying my country, visit foz do iguacu tambem e curitiba.
When in Sergipe you need to read up on Lampiao and Maria Bonito, almost a sort of Brazilian Bonnie and Clyde mixed in with a bit of Robin Hood.
I wish I could travel with you guys! You are amazing!
Muito bom! Amo vocês! Maravilhosos!
Thank you for such a nice video. You guys will ending up moving to Br hahaha. Enjoy and keep making this nice memories guys
Make sure you guys visit the Xingó Canyon, it's a beautiful place and there are many tour companies that take you there. If you like owls, hawks, and eagles, there's an awesome sanctuary in Itabaiana, a city near Aracaju. It's called Parque dos Falcões (Hawks' park).
Hello! Check out the Chapada da Diamantina. It's amazing national reserve in the middle of Bahia state.
Muito bom. Adoro vocês!
incrível 🤩
Ótima viagem !!!! Lindos lugares
Muito bom 😂
you are amazing
enjoy Sergipe a beautiful place with lovely beaches
LEGENDAAAASSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you have problems with the visa, if i'm not mistaken if you cross the border and come back you can renew easily, but the closest border to where you are is France 🤷♂️
Great vídeo edition! And 3 reais for an ice cold coconut water is pretty good deal. Well deserved tip
be careful with the guys on motorcycles that pass beside the cars sometimes they don't warn you and you end up hitting them.
really. now you.re a brasilian guy... congratulation from SAO PAULO
