I'm hoping AirIndia builds something like Emirates or better. The fleet, service, and OTP ufff.
Emirates are way better. SIA a close second. Air India could probably benefit from SIA, but It will be tough to compete against these two. Their hospitality is next to none
@@train_xc I accept that service on board ME3 and SIA is next level. But those employees are also humans. That means it can be done. Under GOI and now under Tatas, attitude of Employees should change. Without that it can't come closer. Definitely, with ULR aircraft available, AI can give a very good competition to ME3. those cut bullas should be hit, where it hurts them the most.
I don't think people would use it then, it would be very expensive and would lead to even less people using Air India, Emirate, Ethiad, Qatar Airways, Saudia, etc, have oil money, which they use to substize tickets, as it only increases tourism in their nation. Doing that is not possible in India. Instead of trying to compete with Luxirious Airline, Air India should instead focus on to improving their service, and making it good enough for their pricing.

Absolutely! The one-side aviation indsutry just became interesting 💙
But this is like comparing oranges and apples. Air india is a full service carrier more focussed on international routes. Indigo is a low cost carrier more focused on budget domestic routes. A better comparison would be AIX vs Indigo
With B777 being added (leased) to Indigo fleet they would provide full service just to ferry passengers to their second hub and code share partner Turkey/Turkish Airlines. They would continuing adding more 777 just for that route and to their upcoming Kenya and Indonesia hubs and operate low budget model for the domestic and other markets which are less than 4 hours.
The Turkish partnership is just to take on Air India and to get access to global routes and forward connectivity to cities in the US cities (which is a key for many travelers from India) and to rest of Europe, where Turkish Airlines has a well established network.
Indigo knows how to play well with the price conscious Indian travelers. And they want to capitalize on the first time travelers to Europe and beyond, as the middle class is growing exponentially.
A nicely explained summary of Air India's plans in India..It would also be nice for Air-India to announce which sector they are introducing these new Aircrafts and by when?
This will entice picky passengers like me, away from EK or 6E to AI. :)

I understand your intent isn't to undercut indian sovereignty but if an indian content creator won't present Indian map in the correct way, then on one will. Why is Chennai always sidelined with your analysis? It's the third largest International airport and 6th in Domestic... so there should be some balance in analysis.
Dubai and Colombo has been pulling most of the Indian air traffic, if air India do it right then it will be an impact for middle eastern airlines n Sri Lankan airlines

FYI Depicting a wrong map of India and it’s territories is a Criminal offence.
Under Indian law, publishing inaccurate maps is a criminal offence, and is punishable up to a six-month jail term and fine.
Content is good but change the Indian map at that time frame😟😟 this is totally wrong.
It is very hard to find the correct digital map assests of india. Government of India need to start producing these assets and then penalize amd not reverse.
@@WayOfTheCode I don't think it's that tough to find correct maps. It seems to be an issue of awareness among citizen. Govt of India has already published a lot of maps for online use and they are very easily available. I only had to do one google search to find them. www.surveyofindia.gov.in has a lot of maps.
@@aman_t you can’t find them in free formats easily. GoI makes them in printable formats. But most of the digital assets are foreign made. Like maps of india for video game toolkits like unity or data analytics platforms like PowerBI all have maps made outside india.

Tatas have also launched their TATA Neu app which has the entire tata ecosystem in it with reward points like a loyalty app. Flying Air India can be really attractive to an indian consumer, if the TATA group manages to properly integrate the airline's frequent flyer programs and loyalty programs with the TATA Neu app. Then even if a consumer shops on big basket, stays in taj vivanta or ginger, buys jewellery or devices from croma, the coins earned from such purchases can reduce the prices of air tickets or at least help in choosing a beat seat or a class upgrade from economy to premium economy or business. Also for business travellers and the vacation travellers, Air India can offer stay packages with taj,vivanta or ginger.

The 500 aircraft on order by both IndiGo and Air India are just to reserve the slot, they might never take possession of the aircraft. Hopefully air travel does increase to the extent that both the airlines take delivery of those 1100 aircraft, but I highly doubt that the number will cross around 700-800 aircraft delivered in total

Significant gap in the logic demonstrated around international expansion and the content which focused largely on domestic issues. Plus, the Indian government didn't 'disinvest' (think you mean divest) Air India. It was a desperation ploy to save the national carrier from bankruptcy.

You might want to re-check the market share figures. The figures published by you was in the beginning of 2022. Thereafter SpiceJet and Go-First dropped to 7% and 8% approximately, to be overtaken by Vistara.

I would not choose Indigo for International Travel. Indigo is great for Domestic Travel no doubt. Currently Air India has the best price to fly from Vancouver to Delhi

I recently traveled on Vistara airlines and their inflight experience was terrible, no leg room, cramped seats and their weirdly designed seat gave me backache. So while all this is happening, need to get experience piece sorted as well.

I totally love the content amazing information, facts, numbers etc.
Only thing that you guys lag on is the “NARRATOR”……the person that is conveying the message is not able to pronounce the words properly and due to which I myself had to rewind the video twice or thrice and then too I wasn’t able to comprehend what he was saying and at the end I left the video at 5:36.
I also watch other CZcams channels such as THINK SCHOOL, BACKSTAGE WITH MILLIONAIRES………they too have the same facts and data to share but I can easily comprehend what the narrator is pronouncing or saying.
You guys have amazing graphics team as well, best in class video editing.
Only thing that made me left the video was the narrator.

Generally well presented but some glaring factual inaccuracies. Air India does not codeshare into the US on Star member carrier UA or any other carrier. Most of their link to Star is with the LH group carriers into Europe. US carriers have partnered with QR and EK for service to India. And you added a zero to the number of jobs in the US. It's predicted at 100,000 not a million. Even 100K is rather optimistic.
It was Joe Biden himself who said Air India's Boeing order will create 1 million jobs in the US. You can look it up to the google.
