So I guess Varun finally did it, he managed to make a video with his AI avatar+some fusion in real time which is so uncannily similar to him that we can't even differentiate. amazing
Varun's testing his next company AI Avatar in this. It's looking good but missing Real Varun, but who knows by 2025 this AI Varun will be exactly Real Varun.
We have a local pharmacy store which is running for more than 30 years. These big companies took huge loans and collected crores from VCs and gave huge discounts that is impossible to give by retailers. Made the business worst and now they are having trouble to run there own business. If they don't know how to do business why are they coming to make our business in trouble. We don't have crores of funds to run ours then also we are surviving with the compitition of big companies but with funds too they can't survive
Kudos the whole team👏🏻👏🏻🫡. What a phenomenal video, with every video tumlog log kuch na kuch improvement karte which make our retention on your videos very high
yeahh.. what you told at the end was totally right and I am agreed with you.. Business.. man its not a joke its take time and as you told you have to give time everyday with same energy and determination...
online pharmacy asks for prescription for many medicines that you may get without prescription offline. For example, BP tablets. Someone who has been having medicines for high BP for years may not necessarily have a recent prescription, so it's difficult for them to switch to online buying.
The absolute lack of ethics on the part of startups, coupled with nonexistent consumer rights make India a haven for unscrupulous entrepreneurs. In the end the consumer always loses.
Keep it up guys... Aevy TV is very much informative about our daily lives happening... Love u all and the complete team work is just remarkable 💖💖 however Varun in this video looks like AI Generated 😜😜😇 cause the previous Varun was very much to the video including his hands moment and his reactions 👍👍💯💯
Founders are mostly running behind raising money instead of making a profitable business. Truth is that founders want quick success, a personal success that is. Not the company's.
I feel like Indians are great students, great technical employees and business men(also in the technical fields) but not the best entrepreneurs, in my book the difference between an entrepreneur and a business person is creativity. That's just my two cents.
One thing I have understood, any startup which will provide it's service at your doorstep, won't be successful in India. And sadly 90% of our startups are from this Doorstep service category.
What would have taken for Team Aevy to make cinematic SpaceX style videos for the recent ISRO Chandrayaan-3 mission? Cinematography via Drones? or Just Video Editing?
Growth and service of 1Mg was amazing. Tata knows which company to pick. 1mg never relied on offline stores. They purchase the medicine and sell directly to customers. No middleman
lol, i have seen many people said to hold for longer period XD i knew it will die down but this much didnt expected, everything it happeneds on environment and indian mindsets!
This is what most startups do. Raise money from one round to another, and then then at the end do an ipo to exit with a profit and dump the losses on the retail investors like us.
I just ordered some meds from pharmeasy lol The meds requires a doctors prescription. I didn't have one ofc The "doctor" called me, asked me some random questions and I lied through my teeth. He didn't even say anything and accepted my order. This is a massive loophole and the sheer breadth of problems that can happen cuz of this is insane!!
Only certain medicines come under NPPA, most do not. Those have insane margins. A neighbourhood pharmacy given 15-20% discount easily and they will surely not be burning money
See when I tried ordering medicines online, main issue is delivery time, you want your pills asap. Not only that but many times not all medicines are available but doctor who prescribed has shops nearby who has all those medicines.
I too come from the same frame work. Never took any investor money. But scaling dependent on stupid indian banks too is extremely risky. My biggest question was always as an owner.. How come these investor come up with 100mill etc
As a pharmacist we have been affected by online pharmacies, by their strategy of giving High discounts for everything+ they are not following the rules set by the government . We always knew that either they will reduce discounts or close Shop , after a long wait it's finally happening and they will try to capture the offline market , but in the end it all comes down to who is able to give the best service at a good price. Please make a video on India's offline pharmacy business we are willing to help you get insight from our experience Thank you @aevytv
Yes, I'd love to know more about the medicine market. What I find the most fascinating is the Generic medicine industry, who provide simillar if not the same medicine formulas for a fraction of the cost. I'd love to get more insights on that!!
Yes I have been consuming generic medicines for almost 6 years now, never thought to buy branded, just sometimes when their no option for medicines were patent is still their
Hey Varun, Do you believe that Pharm Easy ( today is at an standpoint) is due to Crony American Capitalist Investors ( yes there are many other problems too withing the Company - Pharmeasy itself
Honestly, you guys are working hard, educating people for free, love your content. Your content quality is Excellent. I noticed one thing, that your hand was not visible from 5:00 until 7:14. It felt a little less engaging.
Is Varun trying to mimic AI avtars so that we become accustomed to it when he plans to release it on scale? 🤔 Becase 3:30 felt like he was enacting it but was also controlling his actions/movements at the same time.
I can answer this without doing much research, it is because these companies are not solving any actual problems or providing any novel solution. Delivering goods to people is not a necessity. Start ups who focus on providing convenience to customers depend on discounts and promotions to capture market, once another start up comes along, market share gets diluted. These companies get massive valuation and can't keep up with valuation by producing enough revenue.
idk if it's actually AI, or people are just joking here... it's like "Varun" is in the middle ground: neither do I think current AI is capable of such good detailed facial expressions with eye rolls and eyebrows movements, nor is Varun so lifeless :'( im so confused
Please remake video with orignal varun with that level of enthusiasm and energy this A.I varun lacked energy Also cover that thyrocare founder part how he saved himself from downside risk.

True, in any field for that matter- biz or not, slow and steady is the way to sustaining it, not skyrocketing in a day and then plummetting the next.
Ed tech is overhyped . The bubble is going to burst soon. Adding technology does not solve real problems

IT based ecommerce is failed idea in USA and now people try and try to force this idea on Indian people, it is going to be disaster.

I believe netmeds with reliance and 1mg with tata kinda killed them with medplus in the mix they just couldn't do much tbh
Apollo too.
Thanks Dr Priyal for explaining the topic in an easy way
