Just bought this & should be listening to it soon. I did listen to most of it ahead of time on Spotify so I know I like it. I always seperate the discs from the rest of the Set into colored sleeves & keep them in Freeze/Sandwich Bags. Then I can keep the sets locked up & safe somewhere else.
I hope all turned around 4U fellow Prince fan. It is a bit pricey, but one should splurge now and then on themselves to njoy some things in life. It just so happened that my wife and I were touring Paisley Park the day before the release of this collection and we were treated with a preview in studio A. our copy was delivered intact the following week.
Two weeks and counting, and little in the way of anything yet -- Warners Australia's support is totally pathetic. Also, I'm totally jealous of the Paisley Park tour -- definitely on my wish list!
Wow sorry but that's soo funny! If you're wanting the BSides you could always just buy the 2 CD version! The Best CD's here are the Vault Trax and it looks like you have those!

Those would be great deluxe editions (though I wonder what the vault material for those would be, given that very prolific period was one where he reworked a lot of music into tracks that made it onto later albums frequently). One week on from sending it back and I'm still chasing them for a proper copy, sadly.
2 Things Firstly Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggghhhh! Secondly Phew you recorded it as Warner Australia has a reputation for prickish behaviour and a video is as good as a signed affidavit (possibly better). Makes for good content
Harsh! My comment around it not being my favourite album doesn't mean there aren't tracks I don't like -- and in any case, the hook here is all the bonus content -- the book, the Blu-Ray, the 30-odd vault tracks, etc. It's not inexpensive for sure (and it was an indulgence) but we can all treat ourselves from time to time can't we?

Mine had a dent on the box, cd sleeve and book. Only thing deluxe is the price!
Ouch! For the asking price, they could (and should) do better.
