This was actually one of the first "workarounds" that came to my mind when the change to Corrosive was made. I never got around to being able to test it but now it looks like I don't have to.
Hey Cryptocanon wasnt garbage, just very niche You could have the templar running it in 12 or 4man to give ulti back to the group since plars dont really lose anything by not having an ulti
@Nightharrow being serious. It synced really well with glyphich prebuff. But on plars in sweaty groups it was a dps gain for a group stacked with arcanist Vamp drain tanks could also use it if both tanks were ulti bots. It was high level sweaty content only but it did have its place
I’m skeptical there isn’t something better you can do there, but I’ll take your word for it. Would think a hybrid tank/healer/dos would be better in that situation but I’ll take your word for it.
it worked especially well with the glyphic prebuff because an arc could throw the glyphic, then the tank and 1 arc dps could sax/jo, and ma/jo giving extremly long force/slayer going into pulls. the plar can arkasis, drakes rush bash the glyph then dump their ulti so you go into the next fight with full ulti with the super long slayer and force times
Im also confused. So you can’t regen ulti while corrosive armor is active, so you wait until just after it is finished and transfer ult to that player.
Yeah, it’s a little sweaty, so maybe not for the average gamer, but even if you are not perfect with your timing it still works quite well. But yeah, it’s pretty specific and I’m sure not their intended use.
If you ever get run over by cyrodill ball groups or double leaped by a small scaler dk in corrosive, then yeah you just got hit by a team using arkasis/crypcannon combo. But if you are casual just doing quest and housing then yes 100% this is not a mythic for you.
I have used this on my tank in 4man content paired with Arkasis and Drakes, with my team using heroism pots for themselves. Veteran HM fights for perfectas are being burned through in less than 2 minutes (minus any immunity mechanics). Use it right and this mythic is far from "poopy".
Definitely could do that, and I mention it elsewhere if not here. But corrosive gives the full penetration for your direct damage attacks, and that’s why I recommended it here.
This is a controlled experiment to show what is possible, but if you check the comments you can see people who have used or had it used on them in pvp.
It's not at all illegal and the technique used in pvp was to give ults to a dk under "corrosive armor" so that he could directly launch the "dragon leap" ult on top of it with 100% penetration. Good thing they finally saw and fixed the problem with that!
This mythic has been abused by the few people who knew about it in pvp. People think it's hacks, and it's certainly in need of nerfing, IMO. You can even double ult in a duel if someone outside the duel is grouped with you to give you crypt ult (you could when this dropped, that may have been patched). Kinda dumb tbh
The guy using it in Grayhost PCNA Cyrodiil was having multiple friends run it, and popping Corrosive followed by 2-3 Dragon Leaps. And sometimes, just to show off, he'd do 4 Leaps and no Corrosive.@@Nightharrow

there is a special place in hell for videos like this, i know because i watch them from there
Haha this one had me doing a double take. I was like “oh no, someone’s mad.” Thanks for watching!
So in a 12 person (probably best with 8) PvP group. If 2 people have this on, you can rotate basically full ultimate uptime for everyone?
Nah, for larger groups you want pillagers profit. This spreads it equally among the people in the group.

Idk if you’re serious or trolling me. Lol. There has to be something better to run than giving you ult to the party 1:1

🤯 haha wow, okay. Lol that sounds like a broken Dps window. I need to hit you up about that kind of thing sometime and have you tell me more.
Front bar ark and back bar potentates, even faster
They can use potatoe too possibly
For sure, that’s a good point. I had thought about ulti cost reduction but with ark you actually don’t need the dps to do anything but wear Dps sets.
Im confused so you still get the ult buff from magma even if its transfered?
Im also confused. So you can’t regen ulti while corrosive armor is active, so you wait until just after it is finished and transfer ult to that player.
I’ve been using this in pvp for the last 3 months. My dk partner could keep 100% uptime and occasionally take flight in corrosive
He wears dead water and arkasis and my warden wears trickery and arkasis
Oh, can you stack arkasis?!
You can. With the corrosive nerf it has to be a burst ulti dump from both of us. He’s ditching dead water since most procs are lost now
Idk how practical this would be. Still a poopy mythic

why not use magma shell? that morpf allows ulti regen

@@Nightharrow true
in u40 u cant gain ulti points when in corrosive
Yep, exactly, so this is a way around that.
Works good for a inaccurate training dummy.
Inaccurate? I think it’s working well right now. No bugs than in aware of.
@@Nightharrow show a real time battle without dummy?

Haha yeah, I think the new set is what spurred them to finally do it. It can def still be a problem imo.

Huh, I didn’t know. Yeah it seems a little broken.
