  • Hi! Today I share with you how I add 2 extra strings to my travelers notebook, without any extra purchase or removing the clasp. You can totally do this with the two additional elastics Traveler's company provides. This modification allows you to add even more Insert that will lay nice and flush and not shoot around your notebook.

    This is by far the best tutorial for adding elastics to a TN. Thank you for sharing! I added one additional elastic to my TNs but I'm going to go back and add one more to each!

      Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found this helpful! This method looks more polished than having a string sitting on the outside and inserts fit snuggly inside. I've gotta up to 5 Inserts, flush to cover using this method 😊

      @@FrenchyInFocus Hi Paris - I am using the Cousin as my daily journal and keeping track of my days. I retired the Weeks recently as I was merely duplicating things in these two books and it was unnecessary.

    This is wonderful. I previously put additional holes in my last TN. This is so much better. So tidy too. I received a passport TN today and eagerly tried your technique. Worked like a charm. Thank you so much.!

      Wonderful! I'm so glad this video helped you out. I would be way too nervous to poke holes on my tn. With my luck they would've turned out so crooked, lol

    Hi Paris,
    Oh~ I miss your voice so much. I am so sorry you lost it again, but I believe you will feel better soon :)🤞
    Have you ever watched Planning With John's "How to Restring Your Midori Traveler’s Notebook"? In his video, he shows how to open the tin clip. You can use the same technology to open your clip a little and hide the knots :)🪢

    • @FrenchyInFocus
      @FrenchyInFocus  Před rokem

      Thank you for your well wishes, at least it cant get any worse right 😅 No I havent watched his, but in my first mod, use one continual string and opened the clap. I prefer it that way a sleek look. For this one I wanted to show another easy way for my friends that didnt want to open the clasp lol. Just a simple version that didn't require any extra tools or effort.☺
