That is how you pronounce Semenova. In Russian, her name is written as "Семёнова", and the Russian Cyrillic "ё" is pronounced "yo".
It's amazing how much these girls upgraded the difficulty in one year, Nastia went up .6, Beth went up .9. Good for them!!

Semenova should not have won. Bent arms on every in-bar she did, and it wasn't deducted.

I don't understand how Hindermann could have almost the same range of B score as Yang Yilin.
I find it funny at how Bart said "Deltchev?"
I don't blame his confusion because Semenova's Deltchev looks so weird!
I watched many times and couldn't see the difference between deltchev and gienger except legs separation of course.
I prefer Yang yilin style unlike liken or semenova. I'm happy for Semenova too because she kick the ass of Nastia who likes herself too much.
ya, even taller than khorkina. i just wonder how such a tall woman can do artistic gymnastics as she does. she is even taller than some rhythmic gymnasts!
I prefer these American commentators other then the NBC which have to make everything more dramatic than it has to be. They might not sound all that professional but they don't completley put down the international gymnast.
What was with the 2000 Olympics leos for Russia? No national pride, you couldn't tell what country they represented.

@KVHolland3 you're COMPLETELY wrong. these commentators suck. it IS dramatic, it's not fairytale lala land. and they don't put down international gymnasts. they gush about all the international gymnasts, and how great they are
