    Thanks for this, Steve! How is the wow and flutter on this turntable? Would you say it's better or worse than the Numark PT-01 scratch?

      I'd say it's about the same, the construction of the turntable parts is very similar

      The only thing you can't really perform with this are the super long tears, for obvious reasons. I actually like the fact that it's not as base heavy as the 12's . This forced me to regulate my touch effectively and has increased my speed significantly. Movements are made much closer to the middle of the platter and by the laws of physics MUCH more efficient.

      Jesse Dean fader is a MUST. I am in love with the cutoff control and over all performance of this upgrade. I have a somewhat long throw and dont think the PT01 would have been a good move. Best fader I've laid my hands on FULL STOP.

    How to solve the problem of the low volume of the aux signal and the inability to adjust the volume of vinyl. Using different sources (BT, line) you can hear the beat a little and the disc a few times louder and this is a big problem. I have had Reloop Spin for a week and it prevents me from comfortable use because I can't hear the beat, the disc is too loud and there is no way to adjust it. Please help.

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  Před 4 lety

      The Aux signal is dependent upon what you use to supply that signal, is there no way you can turn the input source up any louder?

    does it good playing a 12 inch vinyl on this? just for a playback. like if I don’t wanna do much of scratch and just wanted to listen to my vinyl. thanks

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  Před 4 lety +1

      It can play 12" as well but it wouldn't be my first option (especially for the price) if I was just buying for listening purposes :)

    I want to start learning how to scratch but I don't have the budget for a whole set mixer turntable this looks like a really good option for me you think I will able to learn scratching, some people saying that the Reloop spin and pt01 are toys and sure you can play and make some basic cuts but the motor is not powerful enough and you will not get good torque and won't able to learn all the scratching techniques, what do you think should I really skip and wait till iI will have the money for a decent turntable or it will be good as the first learning Turntable, Originally I planed to buy reloop RP-2000 M but to store owner told me that it's good for DJ but not for the scratching not enough torque. but I really want to get into scratching, so what about the reloop spin It's cheap but originally it was made for scratching so, maybe the RP-2000 will be better for scratching even do it's not strong enough if my two option are SPIN or RP-2000 M?

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  Před 3 lety

      I'd go for the SPIN, it's awesome - portable, more than good enough for scratching :)

      I started scratching in the late 90's and have owned many pairs of original 12's mk2 1210's. I absolutely agree there is nothing like a direct drive system. That being said, I have moved around quite a bit including moving to London from the states 2 years ago. Liquidating your studio / vinyl / belongings is bittersweet. A few months ago i started to dink around with Reaper again and realized how much I missed being creative. With space at such a premium over here compared to the states, the reloop made total sense. . Absolutely no problem with skating or torque. If I'm being honest, its actually a bit over torqued even with waxpaper / butter rugs. 7 inch vinyl requires A LOT less uumph to move the platter and i rarely turn the 20 percent pitch up past 1/4 @ 33.33. Buy with total confidence (bluetooth aux is the shiz) Dont forget to upgrade to JD fader though cause the included is shit (even as a secondary line fader). I got into the entire rig for around 250GBP. In my opinion the stock arm and stylus do not need to be upgraded in order to get started and even after 2 months of regular ( couple hours a day during lockdown) use, show no signs of being an issue.

      Belt driven is no good. I don't care what type of gimmicks these turntables have. NEVER GET BELT DRIVEN. EVER. Always Direct Drive.

    How is nobody talking of the flaws with this product? There is a massive hum when plugged into USB mains adapter. The balance between aux and vinyl is unadjustable if the aux level is low. Wonder why there are upgrades for the tone arm and crossfader? The batteries are an extra cost including a charger for them. Awful product. I'm sending mine back, absolute rip off.
