I think in a few years, we are all going to walk around with some sort of VR/AR glasses. At this point on the technology is kinda still in its early days.
Yeah I think itâs innevitable as the next evolution of the smartphone. I agree that the tech is not there yet, but Iâm still enjoying testing it out as it evolves đ
Not a bad price at 550$ (CAD) or 350-400$ (USD) - I'm happy with my Q3 headset, but these would have also been a decent enough choice. I like how lightweight they are - but looks like it might be a problem for people who already wear glasses (and can't use contacts for whatever reason) to use them... Still, very promising for the advancement of the technology! Maybe in like 3-5 years when I'm ready to purchase more hardware, there will be other options with prescription lens mods or addons that will be available for similar or lesser price point!
I definitely think things like this will become more widely used more quickly than the full headsets, due to portability and ease of use, though.
those things look so sleek! would be great to pair with like the switch or steamdeck too!
Yeah they've been a treat to use! They even have a special attachment for the Switch specifically, but sadly I don't own a Switch :(
@@VRManCave just put Yuzu on the Steam Deck/ROG Ally, same thing lol
Thing is something like the quest does so much and offers immersive experience. This seems cool but outside of media consumption or disolwy capabilities, what else does it really do?
You're absolutely right! For people who want an all-in-one device, the Quest is still king. These glasses are, for the most part, a huge screen. Which can be used to watch movies, play games on a Steam Deck, Switch, etc. or for work if you need an extra screen for your laptop.
If you are mainly using for working on additional monitors while traveling would you go with these or the Quest 3?
I would 100% go with AR glasses, either these or the other ones Iâve reviewed here on the channel. Theyâre much more comfortable and donât need to be charged. That being said, if you think youâll also wanna do some VR gaming from time to time, Iâd say Quest 3 in that case.
and whats the bad things ?
jus say in the beginning its a add to sell the glasses
I said itâs sponsored, not an ad, I would never accept to make a video about a product thatâs not something I believe in. The downside is just that you have to connect them to another device, but otherwise itâs a solid product.
The black I have no doubts but the Resolution? in comparison its like the quest 2?
Well, if you simply look at the resolution in terms of numbers, with VR headsets it's a bit deceiving, as the resolution of the screen itself is not what reaches your eyes due to how the lenses work. With glasses like these, the screen is literally just mirrored into your eye and that's it, so I'd say arguably it's sharper than Quest 2/3.
Welll... regular pair of sunglasses... I would offer help to anyone wearing these glasses.
Hahaha yeah from certain angles you can see they're a tiny bit chunkier than your typical Raybans, but they're still tiny compared to a VR headset, and super super comfy to wear.
Your promo code doesn't work
Just tried the code now and it works fine. You're using B9Z87H8M right? It works just fine for me on Amazon.com.
