@@IzkAndrew very individual. For most women learning the more advanced calisthenics stuff will most likely take years than months. But as I said, too individual. If you start from zero, it will be years in my opinion/experience.
@E620SE I think there's some factors to consider, though. One being the persons drive and motivation. Their work ethic and dieting. As well as doing the proper progressions. And of course the body weight/ bfp that the person is starting with. Even if the person is at a high bfp and weight, if they are dieting correctly, using proper techniques and progressions. It really should take a couple of months to learn a muscle up. As far as advanced calisthenics, definitely up to a year or more
David goggins is not motivating to me at all. Hes so angry in his demeanor. Makes it feel like if i follow his advice ill be a miserable person who only had exercise to keep him sane.
More than anything, have a pull up bar at home. and a kettle bell. That way when you feel lazy you have no excuse. My pull up bar is in my bathroom. Thats the rule. if i use the restroom i have to pay the entry fee
Im 49, I lift in the gym and do a little calisthenics on the side after being out of shape for a few years. One thing I love about calisthenics over lifting is the sense of achievement you get when you get to do something for the first time rather than just lifting something heavier than last week or whatever. I was so buzzed when I got my first pull-up after years of not being able to do one, now I’m doing 4 sets of 6 and still progressing. At my age it seems less stressful on my body too. I’m gradually adding more calisthenics to my workouts. Great skills and patience in this video.
@@F4zze I don't exercise in part because I got made fun of by all the kids in elementary school. Then I tried to exercise and one time I threw up and one time I had to poop and one time I just looked down and I'm better at sitting still and looking pretty. That's my own estimation.
@@elizabethquan4702 don't say that please, we all have our own faults but the most important thing is to work on them, you know the song "it's a fight with you and yourself, become the best of yourself day after day even 0.1% per day" we have to move forward one day, so start now?! If not today, when will it be? humans are like that, it’s never the right time, the right place for them. And above all, we must not compare ourselves to others, envy them for where they are, because we all have an A point and they work day after day to change that! And you know what ? You can do it too, it’s not too late! (Ps: I'm not perfect, we all have the same struggle, certainly not the same tools but we can all improve by changing a little thing daily and I'm working on that too, so strength and courage to us!)
Very inspiring. I’m 46 and have loved strictly calisthenics work outs for years, I am very flexible and receive compliments and stares because it actually does transform your body ❤
Omy IS this lady in her 50's? How can one train to do this? SO MUCH has happened to me in the last 3 years - I've lost my balance, equilibrium, e.t.c. i REALLY NEED this. How to find a place to start?🤔😔🙏
As a man who doesn't really build strength as easily as most guys this is super encouraging to see. I always feel defeated about how slow my progress is, which only slows it more as I'm demotivated. Seeing the progress over years is always a wonderful reminder that it doesn't matter if I have to take my time, that's better than giving up

Eso me pasa. Hace unos meses no podía hacer ni media lagartija. Ahora hago 3 seguidas. Es un gran logro para mí. Seguiré hasta llegar a hacer 50 de corrido.💪😼
Nice! Way to go! I remember I started out using a ton of weight on the assisted pull up and dip stations. Now I am doing weighted calisthenics with 45+ lbs. The hard work pays off. So fun and rewarding seeing how you improve over time
That's impressive! Continuing to try and being persistent is very important. And it's a real process, sometimes it takes years, but the results of that work are worth it! 💪💪
Ihre Ausstrahlung nach nur einem Jahr ist, als wäre eine neue Frau geboren dieses Training war das, was sie brauchte man kann sehen das sie anfangs sehr unzufrieden mit sich war sie verdient größten Respekt.
I love Lisa's workouts. She just dives straight in and they're so quick and easy to follow. As a longtime long distance runner I was surprised to find despite being able to run 5k easily, I was getting out of breath just doing the beginner workouts. I've only been doing them for about 2-3 weeks now, I'm seeing benefits in my posture, core strength, running and walking. And I'm enjoying them much more than doing weights. I'm getting close to being able to see my six pack for the first time since I was a teenager. Lisa rocks. Go girl
Wow that's amazing and inspiring. It's also realistic. Hard work, discipline and consistency works. I'm aiming to do 1 pull up but struggling with consistency. Well done ,👏💪🤩
I love this. 5 years is realistic. Sometimes you may not even think you're progressing, but when you look back... wow. And never giving up. The mind can be our biggest enemy when we want quick results! You go girl, you're inspirational ❤
Yes! Change and strength building takes TIME...I have been doing pole/working out for almost 2 years now (going from almost no strength) and only now can I really lift my body weight off the ground and am starting to do full push-ups and pull-ups...It really takes a long time and dedication.
Love that it's 5 years instead of the usual 30 days to 3 months. It takes time to learn things, and that's alright!
