just bought the moisturizer and it came with a empty jar and a refill insert and I love the concept of reusable jar and a minimal packaging refill . and its a nice thick cream , thought it was going to be super lightweight but I was wrong .

I am so happy I’ve found a dermatologist to help me understand wheat my skin needs! Can you do a review on the best body wash and products to help moisturize the body during and after your shower? I live in Atlanta, Ga and my skin has been so dry due to the crazy weather. My hands are starting to feel like sand paper. I’ve been googling and doing research on different products but I’m not sure.
I'm excited to hear about the moisturizer because I deal with melasma and it sounds like it could help with this condition. I follow the principle of adding a drop or two of grapeseed oil to my regular moisturizer (as instructed by Dr Stephens), however, one can't do this if you need to put moisturizer on under your sunscreen in the morning as the oil will affect the sunscreen. I'm also very curious to know how much this moisturizer will cost, as so many of these specialized products, such as those high in linoleic acid, are prohibitively expensive for many of us.

Hello Dr Alexis…i love your videos and wondering if my routine needs additional products. morning routine i used hydrating gentle cleanser from la roche, versed daily brightening moisturizer ( is the paula choice vitamin c product in this video better?) and trade joe sunscreen. 2 a week do the sente pigment tone corrector. Night routine wash face and use oil of olay retinol + peptide. All products i saw on your channel and seem good. is it too basic for a 53 yr old?

Hi! Thank you for your focus on hyperpigmentation. I have HS and my dermatologists are consistently more focused on that, understandably. But that leaves me to figure out the post acne dark spots and dark patches on my own. Thanks to your videos I’m updating my skincare routine. I want to try the JJ Labs skin Brightening & anti-aging, faded, cysteamine and eucerin anti-pigment dual serum (thiamidol). Is that too much? Do they cancel each other out? I’ve gathered them from a few of your videos, so I’m not sure if you’d recommend them together or in place of one another. Thank you for your help!!

So grateful to have come across your channel. Now that I’m 31 I’ve been trying to take better care of my skin and your videos have paved the way. After watching a series of your videos and taking notes. I’ve come up with my own facial skin care routine. But I’d like to know if I’m applying correctly. First hydrate with Avene Thermal spring water, 2. La Roche-Posay hydrating gentle cleanser, 3. Paula’s choice 25% Vitamin C + Glutathione Clinical Serum, 4. Eadeam or La Roche- Posay double repair face moisturizer, & Handcraft 100% pure grapeseed oil. *only if it’s night time for the oil* I’m targeting dry skin & want to continue to have even skin.

Thank you for recommending supergoop bioretinol mineral sunscreen. I finally invested in it and this is the best mineral sunscreen I have used. My skin tone is darker/deeper than yours and no white cast at all even with reapplication. Non-irritating also.

I would really appreciate since, I can’t come to Florida for a appointment 😢 because am in Canada and there’s not a lot of dermatologist that know about black skin since they’re mainly white dermatologists … they rather put you on accutane since they don’t know anything about my melanated skin. I have a question regarding seb dem, my dermatologist recommend ketoconazole shampoo or foam, which is better for my hair since i only wash 1 in 2 to 3 weeks. Also shampoo with sulfate are they drying to the scalp also? And hydrocortisone scalplin is it drying to hair and scalp? Thank you

I put on sunscreen day and night, but at night I usually won't reapply it unless I got sweaty or needed to rinse may face or something. Artificial blue light (phone/tablet/computer screens, fluorescent lights, LED TVs, etc. etc.) do in fact damage skin, and research is showing that artificial blue light is harsher than originally thought.
