The live rear-axle is better at the drag strip, which is what this car is designed for. Mustangs have always been MASSIVE Camaro eating drag strip monsters. Me and a friend put his 2015 5.0L GT and my 2013 5.0L GT on the strip (both automatic) and went at it. the 2013 had a better launch time and a better finish time, and they both have the same mods, (bama tune and airaid intake). The live axle is better for strip use.

Hello, saw your recent comment and thought I’d ask you about your experience with your car. I currently have a 2011 GT premium. But I’ve been thinking about trading up to the same year 500 as your car and wanted to get your opinion. Drivability, handling, performance, creature comforts, etc.?
It would only be a fair weather car, not a daily. I mostly like to go fast in a straight line and rip through the gears, ha! Thank you for your time!

Back in 10 this car was great but as a super snake just nuts.I love my 10 900hp grabber blue super snake.I get the question all the time as the version that my super snake sits.Can I hang with a Demon . Honestly I think I could beat one easy.
This guy needs to learn that he can shift gears while doing a burnout, especially with more than 500 hp!!

Motortrend gave the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 a 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. That's what the HPE550 Camaro and this GT500 run O.o

its scientific proven that with a live rear axle a mustang it's faster than a irs i think ford tested it long time ago and 0 to 60 numbers drop as soon as they opt for the live rear axle.

Mustang,corvettes,vipers, and any sleek looking convertable always make me think that the driver is a pissy stuck a person. but what can i say? i'd love to get my hands on a mustang =)

This guy doesnt know anything about cars....EVERY RACE CAR IN AMERICA HAS A LIVE AXLE for those who dont know its a full rearend housing. NASCAR's use them and pretty much every other type of racecar out there. yes Indy cars dont and there are some exceptions. But a street car with 540 hp wouldnt be able to take the stress using an independent rear-end system. especially with this idiot driving.
I can tell this guy does not own this CAR, I have GT 500 and no way in hell we I hit rev limiter do burn outs. He must work for the Government and got it free from Obama
