Ryland! Thanx for taking the time to review our livestream (Grace Community Church in Montrose, CO) much appreciate your input. We’ll share with the team and make tweaks. Much love man 2:20:12
GREAT balance of media and lighting their set!! Nice movers and the movements are programmed really nicely, love the orange as well! They do need to watch the intensity of the spots on the ground package, for worship IMHO it's a bit too "glary" and causes a little bit of eye fatigue. When you have bright pro movers with awesome output, it's important to not ALWAYS run them at full, especially on open white.
THIS is a great livestream! Yo, Mission Bible Church looks NICE! I really agree with NOT using audience washes for dynamic "effect" looks. I would say use color for an audience wash, but (mostly) stay away from saturates, this is actually what I plan to do at my church for some more immersive color washing around the room, probably using RGBA panels with the base color mixed but a more "paler" version of the US wash and the colors on stage.
Thank you so much for reviewing our stream @1:41:17 , Going to write down all of your takeaways and start to check them off one by one 👏👏👏 God bless bro!
City Church Batavia LOVE the look and the purple is nice...however for this song I feel like the gobo is moving too slow, it will look smoother if it's closer to the tempo of the songs
I like what Roswell is doing, but I think it would compliment the dynamics of their songs, to actually have some (like 4) moving head CMY spots just to add some nice breakups in attractive colors to the blank spaces on their walls, just to pull in some visual impact for the bigger parts of the songs.
City Church PLEASE lose the Zildjian A cymbals!! Also ya'll need to size up, 16" hats, and 20-22" crash rides and 22-24" rides aren't just the "Trendy" worship sizes, they really do fit better in the overall mix and offer a darker and smoother wash, also they leave space for the higher register on the keyboard and vocals to shine through!
I really enjoyed listening to Daniel. So much knowledge that he could communicate in a humble way. One of your best livestreams.
Awesome video fellas 🤘 Daniel is legit

YES to subtle movement effects, ESPECIALLY with spots!

We definitely probably need to add some mid-stage wash for sure, and probably some "kick" lights to give a bit more depth!

Dude we have Altman 65Q fixtures and they're really nice, old but super effective!
Lots of churches tend to run the key light too bright lol
