- Honda eighth-generation Accord sat somewhere between the Mondeo mainstream and the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4-dominated compact executive sector. No prizes for guessing which segment Honda most wanted it to compete in. The original version of this 2008 model never really caught the imagination of business buyers, so in 2011, the brand updated it, creating the smarter, quieter, cleaner and more frugal version we're looking at here. If you're one of the few looking at a used MK8 model Accord, then this is the version worth stretching to.

My accord euro 12 years old and nothing has gone wrong with it what a car!
Have had one of these for 11 years. It has been the best car I have every owned. Reliability has been impecable. The legendary K24 i-vetec engine has to be one of the best engines every made! The sophisticated double wishbone suspension makes the car handle and ride superbly. Quality inside and out is in my oppinion the best in the world and its made in Japan. Any owner reviews are nearly all 5 stars. Says it all!

None of German cars can match the reliability of Honda and toyota...
Says who ? , my first car was a 2002 Honda Torneo , my second nd current car is a 2011 bmw 320i msport lci model and both of them are reliable vehicles it just way’s heavily on the maintenance fam
@@stattusmuzikhundred2306says me. BMW quality is crap. Look at the N47, M57, N57 engines. Snapped timing chains, worn engine bearings at low mileage and awful build quality. The BMW mini is trash. Rubbish gearbox, timing chain guides snap and drop to bits inside the engine, engine blocks crack, sump strainers get blocked. Reliable? Right! Lay off the pot 😂
@@bEEBO178 because you buy M54, N52 or B58. Very reliable when properly taken care of and MUCH stronger than anything Toyota or Honda produce.
@@bEEBO178I've had 3 generation's of accird's. Now own a Legend. Reliability doesn't get much better. German cars do not get anywhere near.

I own a 2012 Acura TSX Wagon here in America. The K24z3 is one of the most reliable and smoothest 4 bangers, and the build quality and utility are excellent. This wagon is a true unicorn....I go for months without seeing another one on the road.
You can’t compare Mondeo with Honda! Honda is milestones away from Mondeo!!! Looks better, drives better, and remains much longer!!! Like previous Honda Accord 7 did!!! 20+ years old car and still running superb, like brand new!!!
I own a 2011 accord euro CU2 luxury that is R spec,best car I’ve ever owned in 35 years of owning dozens of different cars. 6 speed manual transmission is awesome,has full modulo body kit,I love this car. They aren’t the easiest cars to work on but are totally worth it.
