Thank you for your time reviewing these guitars like these. I look forward to your demo! I'm new to guitar, and this is my first guitar... It keeps my wife and kids happy with the bad noise I produce. I like it a lot actually.
You're very welcome! I will make video shortly. Cool guitar! Great neck!
Surprising those things don't yet come chargeable with a USB like a phone and bluetooth enabled. Batteries?! So 80s!!😂
Great point! Thank you for sharing!
there is a pro for batteries, and that is “instant charging” when they run out - that is to say, instead of waiting for the internal battery (which on phones is often non-user accessible) to recharge before using it, one can just immediately replace with fresh batteries (which can be rechargeable themselves, i recommend eneloops) and continue on with no real downtime.
just something for you to think about - my ewi uses AA’s and i use my eneloops for the above reason.
@@Kept_Crude no way. I prefer being able to swap a battery.
I saw one of those Traveller guitars in the guitar shop and the eye watering price was what put me off. When COVID struck and I couldn't travel, I'm glad that I let that passed.
Those guitars are indeed lightweight and innovative, especially how the strings are done up. Was tempted to get it because I was travelling between Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
I wonder how the tone would be plugged in.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Mr.Fujita.
New design traveling
guitar!.👍😆
(I'm waiting sounds.)😎
You're welcome! Thank you!
I bought one. Out of the box the action was super high and unplayable, and the bridge was misaligned so the strings weren’t lined up straight with the fretboard. They send the guitar with a bone bridge saddle cut similar to a nut with string slots, so I recut the bridge saddle so the strings are centered and spaced correctly on the fretboard. The bridge should be removed and repositioned but I thought I could fix it without doing that. I creating new string slots by moving them all 3/64” on the bridge saddle then I filed the nut strings slots deeper, and took most of the relief out of the neck and lowered the action down to 5/64th at the 12th fret. It plays fine now. For the most part I like the guitar. I’m a pilot and having a guitar in my hotel is huge. If you can’t do your own luthier work I’m not sure I could recommend it. Maybe I just got a lemon but I doubt it.
Thank you for sharing! You can tell Donner about that. Thank you!
You can use that wrench (allen key) to tighten the tuners. Since you have the Beatles on the wall and that window cover you should play Black bird
Thank you so much!
Thanks for reviewing this neat little guitar. I like it and would consider having one of these. They send it in a really big box so you can use it to sleep in if you cant get a hotel! 😏
You're very welcome! Someone thought it's funny!
Two in a row, what a treat
Thank you! Busy week!
I've been trying to work with Donner as I love their pricing and feel they make incredible value for beginners.
Thank you for sharing! Cool guitar!
When all else fails read the destructions. I thought about one of these but I already have a Mogabi. The Donner seems nice for a simple traveler.
Thank you for sharing! If its good, then great!
Truly an interesting design and function for a travel guitar. Very unique I'd say, and I wonder how many would take to this and its purposes for sure
Thanks for sharing! I will make a demo video.
@@TomoFujitaMusic Nice! Looking forward to that!
Cool! thank you!
You're very welcome!

Hi first! Big fan here and I would like to thank you for being an inspiration and such a wonderful teacher for every self-taught guitar player, I love your content. This being said, I bought the Donner Hush-i more or less a month ago and think it's a great product but feel that the action is way too high mostly in frets 12th and beyond, what do you think about it? Did you lower the action? I think I'll have to get it to a luthier but if you have any recommendation I'll really appreciate it. Lots of reviews talk about the same but in the only video I found the guy bought a new piece for the bridge. Thanks in advance! Juan
It's Cool. I like it & it'll be good to see the demo.
I made it today! Friday!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Thanks Bro & Guitar Master
Wow it sounds amazing acoustic !! :)! Headless guitars are awesome. I've played Ibanez Quest and Strandberg Nx7 standard and both are very high quality instruments . They suit me because I have health conditions that make it difficult to hold a standard guitar. Im very grateful that headless guitars have become more widely available ! :)
Thank you for sharing! I will make a demo soon! Thank you!
Looks like a gem for world travel and long stays in hotel rooms. Bust it out the plane!! What are all the electonics I wonder. Sounds fine so far acoustically. Trusty tuning fork, yes!
Thank you! I just made this demo/. Friday!
🎉 Thanks, Tomo. Nice guitar! Anything innovative is good. Thanks for sharing!
P.S. I can't believe that Strandberg has not sent you one to try out!
You're very welcome! Thanks for sharing! Cool guitar!
I couldn't afford it I'm sure but, It would be nice to have! Not because I travel but, because I am in bed after a back surgery and it's small and light enough to play from bed.
I'm happy that you love it Tomo, it's really well designed right? They thought of everything! A place to put the wrench even. Not hard to tune and easy to put together and take apart. I'm looking forward to seeing a full demonstration!
I'm also very happy you didn't break the window!! Everything went well and now your wife won't be angry with you! That's the most important part.
Well that's not entirely true. They sent you a second instrument! The shaker is like a tiny Maraka made from paper! WOW right?🤣✌️❤️🎸🎶🙏
Fun little guitar for sure. I just did this demo video today. I will post shorty. You will see more details. My job is to make my wife happy! Thank you!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Family first, guitar second! Of course that's what keeps you happy and grounded right Tomo?
I look forward to the more detailed demo video but, what I find very funny is that I never thought watching someone take a guitar out of a box could be so much fun ! It doesn't make sense really but, it is fun ! Just watching you unboxing a guitar that isn't even for me is more fun than it should be...I think it has more to do with the who than the what. We just like _you_ and no matter what you do it's you who _makes_ it more fun than it sounded like it should be.
Thanks Tomo for being such a positive person in these times of such division between people.
I can't have peace and be angry at the same time so it's always a nice break from the negative.✌️❤️🎸🎶🙏
@@stanphillips7277 Yes! Very important in that order! So happy to hear that you enjoyed my unboxing videos! Thank you so much! We all have ups & downs. We frustrated & not feeling good sometimes. That's so human! Thank you so much!
@@TomoFujitaMusic It's true that we have ups and downs. It's all a part of being human. Like a metronome. When it's at the bottom it always goes back to the top. Thanks for caring and please don't lose that very important peace because it's a Maraka and dehumidifier all in one!🤣
✌️❤️🎸🎶🙏
@@stanphillips7277 Yes. Good cycle of life. As long as you see the Sun next day then all good! Thank you!
….it’s like a magic wand👍
….with a cool ~spark~!
Awesome!
Yes!
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
I love your videos. I can not wait for the full review. Will you be reviewing the Spark Go also?
Thank you! I just made it. Friday!
I will do that video too!
Yeah, I was wondering what would make a good travel guitar that you can take on your carry on. I build a custom Squier mini with upgraded everything and the best part is, it's ultra small and even has string through. Traveling without my guitar's is hard enough. Lol
Thank you for sharing! Awesome!
There’s an Allen wrench to do the tuning pegs it’s in the guitar
Thank you for sharing!
Love your videos! Is it possible if you could do a video on country-soloing ideas/methods? Havent seen you do anything country yet :)

@@didrik9151 I have so many videos. Even over 800 unlisted videos alone! Over 1600 published videos!
@@TomoFujitaMusic You should publish those videos that are unlisted. Ive seen all your guitar wisdom videos, and a LOT of your youtube videos, but i still learn something new from every single one!
@@didrik9151 Many of them are made for my private students & my practice videos. So they are little too personal. So many of them. Maybe some of them can be... showing jazz phrasing over tunes etc. I got over 800 unlisted videos.

Hello tomo I was wondering if you could look into a lesson on the Grateful Dead help on the way/ slipknot You had a lesson a while, back on diminished scales, and it sounded exactly like what was going on in the main riff of the song. Maybe you could expand upon it a little bit more thanks
Thank you so much! I wrote down. Thanks for sharing!
It was good in a lot of ways, but the nut is only 1.6 inches - very small. I could not play chords without my fingers muting the strings on either side. I had to trade it in.
Thank you for sharing!
Someone wanted to see you throw a bigger box...That could be the only answer... AIN'T IT JUST AIN'T IT 😜 lols
That big box was so strange! Fun!
I like this Guitar quite a lot and was pleasantly surprised how playable it really is. I’m just wondering which kind of strings I would have to buy when I want to replace the ones that came with it originally?
Thank you for sharing! It sounds pretty good with guitar amp! I did not change the strings. It's fine. You will hear my demo video next.
I have one 😊
Good for training in a bad
First saw it when Melanie Faye promote it probably year ago I was looking for travel guitar
I like it but my guitar has wawy fretboard and piezo pickup isn’t work correctly (
Thanks for sharing. You can return it! You should contact!
@@TomoFujitaMusic unfortunately I can’t because bought it from unofficial dealer
I’m not sad about it I like this guitar for training)maybe I’ll buy another one in a future)
@@Lotusblue777 Thank you for sharing. At least you should inform that problem to Donner.
@@Lotusblue777 They love to hear it.
My opinion, mini micro tuners for like a floyd rose would have done better.
Thank you for sharing!
I bet you'll like strandberg
SNAP! Just what I was thinking!
Thanks for sharing!
Considering he plays jazz , blues and rock I would love to see him play Strandberg! I've mainly seen metal and prog players but I play a Strandberg and love them . I play a mix of Prog , metal, some classical and alternative rock. Mainly because of the endure neck and because it's very light which suits my back
I liked the presentation better than the guitar
Thank you!
Seems really touchy to tune correctly… plus can’t keep it right for long. Ok, I don’t slap as you do 🤣
Now I am used to this. It will take some time
lol dont look
Don't share that to anyone!
