Hey Jeff, we bought the Hey bike rangers last year. Very similar features for about the same $ except for 20"wheels which I wanted due to being less weight. It looks like as far as the mechanical issues that could crop up, do you see anything particularly tricky? I know the electronics issues would likely be show stoppers but as far as stuff like replacing the brake pads, or the chain. Stuff like that.
I have found that brakes are the one thing you always want to stay on top of.
I replaced brake pads on a different bike, same KBO company, it’s standard pads you can get off Amazon pretty cheap.
After running in salt water I hope you clean it well.

Nice bike. I wish they were clearly with the specs. It's a 500w motor that peaks at 750w. I almost reached out to review one.
This is true about a lot of electronics out there. Amps for sound systems do the same. Heck even generators and power tools are also tag with peak power.
@@Grimmeute this is true. But I had to dig on the product page to find that. Their competitors are a little more open about it. I review these things just like Bear and this company makes it difficult

Going through salt water will do a bike in shortly.
Living in Fla. We learn to wash things regularly. The salt is in the air basically so even our vehicles get washed several times a week.

No bike or ebike worth a $1,000 or more sorry hear people homes and garage starting a fire. It not worth it no thanks.
