The lyrics speak about mortality, fate and destiny - things that i am sure were prominent in Freddie's mind as he was dealing with his illness. We are tremendously blessed because he was able to express those thoughts & feelings thru this magnificent song.
So clever of him to write this lyrics, and yet without telling the world the truth about his illness.

Oh wow. That's the most powerful song I have ever heard. I'm almost 60.had goosebumps all the way. And knowing the lyrics made it even more intense as it's about forbidden love , and some have experienced that so I can relate to the song and feelings.

La composición de Mercury .. no sólo de este tema, de todo el disco... Siempre lo recordaremos por sus azañas con Queen (para mi la mejor banda de la historia) Pero pocos escucharon este trabajo. Es sin duda su obra maestra. Todo lo que se escuha es su obra. incluso las voces de Monserrat.
