Flying My New Plane To Work For The First Time

- On this flight I'm flying down to Speedway airport to go meet up with a fellow pilot who is also an A&P mechanic. He has a Decathlon aerobatic plane which many of you have asked to see. My flight was only about 17 minutes.
Flight plan - climb to 2500 feet and stay clear of the bravo airspace. It does get bumpy at low altitudes around here. You should see shortly. Hope you enjoy the video!

I lost 50 IQ point reading this.
I am a design consultant and a pilot. One of my fabrication vendors happens to have his plant at a small private airport in what used to be a hangar. When I saw this, I immediately contacted the owners and received permission to land there. For several years, whenever I could have a meeting with that vendor, I would fly in and park my small plane just outside the hangar doors, have our meeting and fly home. That was always a good day.
Sounds like a blast, wish that could be all of us hahaha

Flying would take much longer for a short commute....it takes alot of time filing a flight plan and pre tripping the plane and doing all the necessary things to make sure the flight is successful....
You can't just get in and takeoff like you can in a car.
