    Nice work Mirock. I'm glad you didn't put any sticky oil on your brass when you knurled it. Doing it dry is the correct approach. Festool should put you on their payroll. 😃🇦🇺

      I tried oil once before, and dry way appeared better, at least in my experience

    Okay you got me subscribed after the usage of the machinist metal cutting tool on the lathe being used on wood. And such a simple fix to truly update your tool. Great work. Now I'm off to binge watch some of your other videos.

    Insane idea, if you can afford a ts55 you can afford a table saw. This is a Frankenstein monstrosity. Nice lathe work though

    Only thing i can think off that can be little annoying is resolution of a detent mechanism but you have plenty of other ways to make preciselly measured cuts in your shop

      Ah, they correspond well but exist summary play gear on bolt and bolt into plastic body. I didnt try to avoid it and let them some freedom. It is possible to remowe all play if change rough bolt for turned one with accurate shaft diameter and fix it in body with some epoxy. If I will do one more set maybe I`ll do it, this is just quick improvization. But I don`t plan to sell it and probably it will work further in this condition. This play isn't make any harm. Next time I rather change full construction for more perfect than will improve this one. For my current needs this one works much better than previous.

    How much it move by one tooth? Like a 5 mm or more?

      About 1.2mm would be good 0.1mm but here task of clicking not for step measuring just for prevent move down
