  • Here is a little trick that I use with my HX Stomp to get more snapshots out of it. I apologize for the camera not picking up the HX Stomp screen very clear. I will be working on fixing that in future videos.

Thank you for your time and dedication ! :)

    • @SteveSterlacci
      @SteveSterlacci  Před 4 lety +2

      With this way you can do up to 3 presets without changing banks of presets. Follow the same steps so you'll have (whatever number you are at, 34 for example) 34A, 34B and 34C all blinking at that preset select menu. Each one can give you 3 snapshots each so up to 9 different sounds within the same preset bank.

  • @bvaladez74
    @bvaladez74 Před 4 lety

    Here's the issue. Unless there's an audio drop in the song, you're going to hear the audio drop if a chord is ringing out while needing to switch presets. You're loading all that DSP from one to the next and it's not seamless. It's incredibly noticeable to an audience and/or your band members when they hear a glitch in their in ears of the guitar dropping out between presets. Yes if your note or chord has a "break", you can get away with it. In most cases, you're not able to. If you're ok with audio drops, then this is a great idea.

Isn’t this pretty much the same as having a preset for each section? Is this not just changing presets and kinda calling it adding extra snapshots? I may be misunderstanding something and i’m not trying to ask in a jerk-ish way. Thanks for any guidance or help!

      Hey Sebastian! This is a work around for using more than the 3 available snapshots. So the 3 on each preset will have the seamless and gapless. This is just a strategy to have the same preset "next door"

    I don’t think this is really the major issue you make it out to be. Your sounds are so similar that you could probably do just fine with 3 snapshots and using your volume and tone knobs.

      Everyone complains about this issue. I don't really have a problem at all with the gaps. But wanted to share a work around to help others that could use it.

      Hmm. Its laid out pretty simple if you follow all the steps. Did you follow along or skip around? Do you have the unit in front of you with the 2 presets copied and pasted next to one another?
