Wizadora: Be Careful, Wizadora! (1993) - FULL EPISODE

- Wizardora's in a particularly tricky mood today, so she challenges herself to try something she's never tried before: a quick disappearing spell using the Super Wand. Taking that information and using it in conjunction with the title of the episode, I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to deduce how well it goes. This one was originally broadcast on Monday, 22nd November, 1993, so the main target audience is, was, and always will be those born in the mid-to-late 80s.
The lesson, of course, revolves around getting good at something by practising, rather than rushing in and biting off more than you can chew - good advice, and not only for trainee wizards. We also get to meet Very Old Fish, one of the friends doing his best to avert disaster, and take a brief trip to a very unusual land indeed.

From the same year, after they made the 15-20-minute episodes of the show. I was surprised at the time how quickly things changed like Tatty getting a new actor (CITV's in-vision continuity announcer in these later episodes) and Pheobe the phone getting a new color and voice in these shorter stories. I think very Old Fish had a different voice as well, but it's been AGES now so I might be misremembering on that last part. The originals were aired at lunchtimes in the summer of 1993, during ITV's summer programming block for kids. Even London's Carlton region took part but only for this one year sadly, before they opted to show morning movies instead. Oh, and Ravensburger, maker of the Wizadora activity book, still exists. Currently producing the Lorcana Disney Trading Card Game. :)

Did Wizadora last for 5 series? It was a co-production of Workhouse TV and North Pole Productions for Meridian Broadcasting. Wendy Van Der Plank was the original Wizadora, but she was replaced by Lizzie McPhee until the tele-programme ended?
Seven broadcast series, I believe. And, yes, there were two Wizadoras and two Tatty Bogles down the years.
