I was a member of the Zoo when i lived there. Yes these are top quality eateries to have before and after the zoo experience. Japanese-Italian cuisine is very unique.

Wow that was a big breakfast but looked good all the same. Set you up for a walk around the zoo which looked fab with the cable cars and the bridge. With the evening food the Japanese pancake would have been my choice . Cool Japanese supermarket tho I hate shopping 🙂

That sky cable ride looks fun! That Japanese restaurant looks like they had an expansive menu, hard to choose lol.. I'd try the eel! Glad you got to walk it off at that Asian Supermarket 🙂

The waffles looked great and a good price too! I also thought the flatbread looked very tasty. I haven't been to the San Diego Zoo in such a long time, but it is such a wonderful zoo to visit. My favorite was the leopard. 👍😊
