    you guys know how when your four-year-old is gonna pour their own apple juice? and they're trying to pick up the gallon bottle and it's like, half the size of their torso? and you're like, "do you want some help?" and they're all, "NO! i can do it!" as they're very evidently failing to do it?
    imagine if they never stopped doing that lol

    • @a_83567
      @a_83567 Před 4 měsíci +14

      Honestly pro litigants typically create delays and make it harder for a judge to remain impartial. It’s time consuming having a pro se defendant whereas going against another attorney who knows the processes and legalese is more efficient than for example having to wait for another date because the pro se defendant didn’t understand how to file a motion or as shown in the Darrell Brooks case when a pro se litigant tries everything in their power to be as annoying and disruptive as possible to delay or cause a mistrial. Another attorney would have to behave because they don’t want to be disbarred whereas a pro se defendant has no incentive to follow court decorum other than the possibility of a few days in jail.

    this dude is in big trouble if he does not want a lawyer. I am not a lawyer, and have 0 legal education or experience, and understood more of what was being asked of the defendant than he did. I think that is a big problem with the charges he is facing if he plans on representing himself haha

    I am very surprised that Judge Simpson has allowed this numbnut to go pro se - he (the defendant) has absolutely no idea of what he is doing - or should be doing - and is therefore harming his defense! A court-appointed public defender should be assigned forthwith, whether or not the defendant agrees!
