I popped over a curb and hit the inner side of the left rear wheel on that curb that was under my car. my left rear wheel has a bit of ' toe-in ' it looks like but the lower control arm looks fine and straight so does the shock placement. would you guess I have a bent axle ?
Whats the easiest way to take off the abs sensor? Mine dosent wanna budge with the sensor on. The axle dosent go in far enough as its getting caught on abs
I need to replace my right side rear axle. can I buy just one side for a site online? or do I have to buy 2? I know one side replaced at a shop is like 500 don't want to pay that. again.
My 06 GT won’t move in any gear..clutch pedal firm...happened when I shifted into 3rd from dig..no gears work and car won’t move just revs. No engagement. No fluid on floor..no gears grinding...what could it be??
I destroyed my differential with a money shift. I tried pushing in the axles but i cant get them far enough in to remove the C slip. is it suppoused to slide out easly? or do you need to hammer it out?
Diff fluid is very bad for your skin. I do all kinds of mechanic work and don't wear my gloves but when it comes to rear diff fluid you shouldn't ever touch that stuff with your bare hands.

the right rear wheel is fine no contact or damage. also the pan hard bar is straight. I've bent and replaced that bar before but it seems fine

The 8mm bolt on my differential that keeps the pin in is stripped, any ideas?

Is the same long size for left and rear axle? You can use an axle on any of both sides?

thanks for making this video, question , the C clip is all that holds the axle in? what holds the C clip from just sliding back off?
carlcrasmussen With the center pin in place it is impossible for the axle to slide back far enough to get the c-clip to come out of it's groove.

Chris Love Your right about that I have taken out a couple of those before. Thing is I have like a dozen abs sensors just laying around.

Easy out. No hammer needed
I have the same mustang same problem its just bent a hair If I just buy a new axle with the abs wheel on it all I have to do is put it back in right?

How can you tell axle shaft was warped and it wasn't the bearings?

Mines squeaking on driver rear no change under break and speeds up with speed.....
