  • Red Lentil Crepes with Aloo Methi is probably the easiest meal you will make for yourself and your family. Red lentil Crepes are so delicious. You can call them Lentil wraps, Lentil Tortilla, or Lentil Cheela because they all come in the same zone. They are made like dosa but the batter for these lentil crepes is not fermented.
    They're wonderfully soft and flexible, perfect for folding or wrapping, and can be served in any number of ways. I started making these types of crepes more often after I switched to gluten-free diet for medical reasons. Because they're far easier to make compared to gluten-free roti.
    I got Methi the other day and thought to make Aloo Methi Sabzi the crepes. 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢 is an easy dish that offers numerous health benefits to promote our health and well-being. The high fiber content in them creates a sense of fullness when you eat with these lentil Crepes. This dish is homely, delicious and quite a vegetarian delight for Punjabis.
    *Methi (Fenugreek) leaves are loaded with fiber and many other essential nutrients, making them an invaluable addition to your diet.

    Ingredients you need to make Aloo Methi ( I am making half of this recipe in the video)
    500- 600 g baby potato
    4 bunches methi/fenugreek (pick the leaves, wash them thoroughly and chop coarsely)*
    3/4 cup chopped onion
    2-3 tsp ginger garlic paste
    3-4 green chilies or 1 tsp red chili powder
    3/4 tsp turmeric powder
    Salt to taste
    3/4 cup chopped tomato
    *If fresh or frozen is not available in your city use 2-4 tbsp qasoori methi

    1/2 tsp salt or to taste
    1/3 tsp red chili powder
