Not a trucker but I love a good road trip and I love a good truck/rest stop. They fascinate me for some reason.
The Green Shingle old exit 5 on I - 90 PA. For all you old timers. Became a Dixie before it folded. Long gone now.
The Stagecoach Truck Stop I-84 Boise,ID. Full of history. Awsome full service restaurant, lots of parking. 🐕 runs for u'r dogs and horse 🐎 coral, 4 thoughs transporting livestock.
The property was an original WellsFargo Stagecoach Stp n the 1800s.
The building is very old and said to be haunted. Alot of famous ppl have stopped here and their pictures are on the wall.
Nice place; all the amenities
That's a good one.
Man!!! This is an awesome video and I am definitely looking forward to visiting each one of these truck stop. Thank You for the great info.
Great list. Jubitz and Bosselmans are great too.
Glad I found your channel...Great information! You a helping me make decisions and plan.
It's been a little over 10 years since I got off the road but I always liked the Little America truck stops in western Wyoming and Flagstaff, AZ. Their showers were awesome and the ice cream cones were cheap.
The one in flagstaff is one of the best Christmas lights to see. It is actually better to park across the street from
The original Little America in Little America, Wyoming has an actual bathtub when you paid for a shower in the truck stop. It also has a playground and a fancy hotel.
The TTT (Tucson Truck Terminal) I10. There is a chrome shop, restaurant, barber shop, a good mechanic working in the back. Plenty of showers even has hotel rooms. One other thing that makes this place special is that it's been around since the 50s.
But now they charge for parking.
Great job on the video👍🏻
Really enjoyed your video.....I love traveling!!!
I'll be looking for some of these truck stops for sure. 👍 👍
Busy bee in FLA is nice....the restrooms are lovely...not really that big, and many times full of travelers (I drive Trailways busses). Thanks, I will give some of these places a thought when I am doing the white lines, uuhhh driving.
Little America Flagstaff Az...awesome place
Good job! Enjoyed that. Thank You.
I appreciate that 👍
Nice list. Travel's Oasis in Eden, ID and Whiskey Pete's in Primm, NV have always been some of my favorites. I missed out on most of the truck stops you listed, since I wasn't OTR for very long. But I would recommend Jubitz in Portland, OR and the Arrowhead in Pendleton, OR.
Thanks for posting this, it brought back some fond memories.
Yessir!!
Seven Feathers Casino truck parking Canyonville Oregon
Whiskey Pete's is way freaking cool...been there a few times..
I will keep my eyes open! Thanks!
bryan p yessir! It’s a nice change of pace from the typical PFJ/Loves vibe
Showers we all need 'em
Gateway Travel Plaza off the PA Turnpike at the I-76/I-70 interchange was a regular stop during my childhood when the family took road trips up the NE corridor. It continues to be a family tradition on the rare opportunities we get to drive out there. The main stop has a full restaurant, a bar, a gift shop and convenience store, a food court, smaller shops dotted around the building, an arcade and decent cheap showers. The parking lot is shared with a Holiday Inn Express and a conference center, and they have fuel islands for both trucks/RVs and passenger vehicles. The truck stop has a rich history of serving members of our military starting during WWII when the stop was merely an inn or bunkhouse with only a few pumps out front. They would offer soldiers food and lodging for free in exchange for a service insignia patch. That practice is long since gone, but the patches the truck stop collected for free meals and lodging is actively preserved and on display in the main restaurant. The clock in the lobby is also original from that first building on the property.
was just at the TA in Raphine, its great the people that work there are extremely friendly, They gave me a free shower because I did not have points , popeyes gave me extra food. plenty of parking and a SHUTTLE if you park way in the back!! Oh the shower rooms were classy and very clean
Petro and TA have really gone downhill the last 10 or so years since they merged. They used to be the place to go. There’s still a few that are too notch but for the most part I avoid them.
Been to Whiskey Pete's, Tamarack, Iowa 80, quite a few of these places.
Cool!Little America in WYOMING is also very nice truck/travel stop🙂I think is ex#68 of I 80
Yes sir, Iowa 80 is a great truck stop, kids and I were so excited.
Matthew Pernat gotta love it there. I don’t have a truck to spend money on there anymore but that’s probably a good thing 🤣
i visited the first time there this there. Dont know if it was a different exprience there due to covid though.
Kenly Petro, I95 exit 106. Massive parking, huge store, 3-4 trucks on display. I suggest you take a look if ever you're in N.C.
Holy cow has Whiskey Pete's grown since I was last there 30 years ago!
Now that I'm not a driver... the busy bee rocks!
Sapp Bros has super cool bathrooms.
Really dig the Town Pump truck stops in Montana.
Same here. I think it’s great that they stayed their own store while selling pilot/flying J fuel instead of just handing them over to them.
Forgot truck world hubbard Ohio
Kenosha wi petro
Dyserts truck stop Bangor maine
Idk when the last time u was thru primm Nevada but Buffalo Bill's and the roller coaster have been closed for a number of years. As far as I know still are
Honorable mentio. 7 Feathers. I-5 exit 99 in Canyonville, Oregon. Parking on west side of highway, or take the shuttle to the east side for the casino and restaurants
Been to most of them
Old school the ones that are forgotten about pass by
Abbyland in Curtiss WI on state hwy 29. Not the biggest or baddest, but very solid. Always have great deals on meat products, deli, etc. Also any Kwik Trip/Star with diesel pumps for big rigs if you are in WI, MN, or IA.
I bought my wife a coffee mug there lol
stop here everytime we go to the twin cities and on the way back,.
Jubitz Portland Oregon and Oak grove 70 oak grove Missouri and the Kenly95 Kenly North Carolina. Little America truck stops in Little America, Wyoming and Cheyenne, Wyoming and Flagstaff, Arizona and the Boise stage stop in Idaho.
There's many truck stop that have up Fallen by the wayside... Burns Brothers had 40 truck stops!
I use to work at Mittens in Oakley
FWIU it hasn't run in over 10 years but at one time Primm had a monorail crossing the interstate! It seems like the only part of the business that's really flourishing now is the Lotto Store (a little store just on the California side that sells lottery tickets, Nevada not having a lottery).
I need one of those towers 🥺
Truck world Hubbard Ohio is cool too
Jubitz Portland,OR
That place is such a pain to get out of back onto I-5 southbound lol. It is a great stop though.
That BusyBee in live oak still has the best bathrooms, I stop there every time I run from Jacksonvile to Tallahassee
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?
I was dumb lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me!

@Westley Duncan thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Westley Duncan It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
@Ibrahim Bo Glad I could help xD
it doesn't take long to get tired of the major chain truckstops. the piss bottle parking lots get old fast. it is usually a tradeoff between open parking and wrecked bathrooms. if you can "hoverdump" and you know the area and don't need fuel, the offbrand places are a dream.
Absolutely. Not to mention parking at a big chain truckstop generally comes with a risk of losing the front of your truck at any given moment.
Grand Island Nebraska
😂 Funny Flying J Laredo Tx. Pretty good truck stops.
🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂 most definitely
Big cabin truck stop outside Vinita OK.
Wait! Truckers can't park at Buccees???? That's just wrong!
Yea they say it attracts criminal activity (drugs lot lizards) bucees is jus a glorified gift shop with good beef jerky
Presumably you've been to Breezewood. The entire town is a truckstop. LGBFJBJT!
Yessir. Saw a barefooted lot lizard there many years ago at the TA 😂

@@LoadMizer That was a hint, fucker.. lol I-81 VA/WV line... if you come even remotely close, LMK..
Geriatric Ginger lmao so it’s safe to say Winchester...ish territory or hell even Hagerstown. I’ll make it happen man 🤣👍
@@LoadMizer I'm outside Winchester, in the communist state of Virginia.. :( Born/Raised in the United State of Texas, tho.
Not very many "truck stops" left, most of them are tourist traps.
Iowa 80 was once a great place. Once TA took over, it became garbage. The food? Horrible. The services, they do the minimal of what they have to do. The museum is awesome, but most truckers that care go across the street.
I don’t disagree with that. Petro used to be a great truck stop chain but when TA bought it they went downhill quick.
@@LoadMizer I was there. I lived it. Thank you for what you do. Everyone deserves to see how truck drivers live.
Eat across the road at Grandma's. Awesome food.
He almost got a thumbs down for not showing the Iowa 80 in Walcott, by making a joke about it being in Laredo.
😂
How can Buccee’s be on the list if you can’t park your truck?
It’s not on the list. Busy bee is like buccees but it’s an actual truck stop

I was in there 5 years ago awsom truck stop the Buffett sucked
I was just curious about the truck stop they call the “Giant”?
I’d assume that would be Iowa 80. I’ve never personally heard of a truck stopped called the giant.
Jamestown nm on i40 exit 39. Its a pilot now
There was a gas chain for awhile named giant. They had that truck stop at mm 39 I 40 NM. It was a bit more fancy before pilot got it.
The fact that you put Iowa 80 on top.... Not to mention you put several others from that same conglomerate.... You've exposed yourself as a complete company rep.
I sewcBonnienClidein Nv, Cal boreder
No Jubitz???? You're no longer allowed to speak.
Cleanest lot lizard?

Truck stops smell like urine.
That is nice, thanks for pointing that out.
