What a difference a few days makes! Jebus has found his smile and seems to be enjoying himself again. Although I have still been watching he had changed and didn’t seem to be enjoying history. That old charisma is shining through again.😃 Jebus is happy and when he is happy the whole crew is happy. That includes the Jebus Subs, I am certainly happy to see the magic back. It is an idiom that means there are so many coins

Coin shortage came about due to the place that makes coins actually shut down for a long time (a few months). Therefore, the change in the system isn't enough to cover everything...plus the fact some coins can't be used to age, lost, etc there is actually is a need for new coins all the time. (My dad explain this)
I've put 25$ in quarters in coin star and ended up with less than 14$. It rang up all denominations. They are not accurate.
they take about 9-12% of your money in fee if you did it with cash which is sad.
Take it to the bank next time my bank only takes like 2 dollars compared to the coin star
This is very true. I took in 44 ponds of jus scrap metal plates shaped like quarters an It took em, but it thought they was mostly nickels.
Bob Dunkin they are not doing it for free, which is kind of understandable. That is their business model. I don’t think anyone accepts coin exchange for free. It is annoying, but sometimes the only way apart from actually spending the change over time.

I have saved my change for a while for emergencies but recently finally caved and started saving more than just pennies I think I'm already half way to my first 2-spot after all the quarters nickles and dimes I added in to the mix not including the collectors quarters I'm saving (i.e. the state quarters from 99-08 and whatever other sets I find) I keep the best looking copies for the collection and the rest join the savings it's actually pretty fun

I work retail at a gas station and the bank refuses to give us more than 1 roll of each coin. Know how long 50 pennies lasts.. 30 minutes or so. We've been begging customers to bring us change.
Maybe people are paranoid to touch real money these days?
I read an article that the mint actually cut back because they wanted to minimize contact between employees and they aren't sure when they will get back to regular production again.

Me and my girl friend have been saving coins for a year in a water jug a big one. We cashed it in today and we had 676.28 weight was 87 lbs but a lot of it was quarters as were I work I buy water out of a machine and get change back and never use change.

You know Jebus. Whatever bank or credit union you go to has a change counter(s) at any one of it's branches they won't charge you to count your coins as long as you are a member with them

You know it actually weighed 97 pounds, if there was another 2.? pounds of coins to actually make it 100 pounds, I believe it would of went over 400.
If you add two it is 97+2 =99 but if you add three it would be 97+3=100

I cashed in about $300 worth last November for an urgent necessity. i read recently that there is $11 billion in coins in circulation. That's something like thirty bucks in change for every person in the country. I'm sure it's all part of the push toward going cashless.
